fwiw, I usually start seedlings in a soiless starter mix like jiffy with added perlite.
The plants don't need any food for at least a week, and the mix dry's out nicely between waterings (soil can be dense and hold a lot of water). You want the soil dry before you water again.
Once I start to feed, it's usually only clonex and maybe silica and calmag, but I keep the ppm under 150.
Seedlings are pretty resilient. If you've backed off on the burn and let the soil dry a bit, they will recover.
