Feminized VS Regular

So is there a big trade off in potency when using feminized seeds vs. regular seeds. A lot of threads that I have read on here seem to be saying that with feminized it can be very ambiguous as to whether or not the feminized version is as potent as a regular seed. Does anyone have any first-hand experience with this? I have been thinking about buying my first batch of feminized seeds, and want to know if you guys think its worth it. I like the idea of not having to worry as much about getting a male, but from what i've been reading it seems that most people would prefer reg. seeds even if they do get a male because the potency is supposedly higher for most strains compared to feminized seeds. Any info anyone has would be great. Thanks!

I prefer regular seeds because if for some reason u quite growing that strain u can pollinate a couple buds and keep that strain around for a long time instead of having to buy more seeds and since they use Hermie to got fem seeds u run the chance of getting Hermie plants or plants that don't withstand stress well

go with a good breeder with good genetics and you will be fine with Feminized seeds
Are there any seedbanks/breeders with trustable/reliable genetics that you would recommend? I feel like I hear good things about DNA, G13 Genetics, Barney's, and Sensi Seeds on most of the threads that i've read on here. Would you say those are good to go with or is it usually a 50/50 on whether or not it will be a bust or not?

Realize the complexity in the genetic code of an organism, it will then be easier to put in to perspective what I view as the gross negligence in thinking people must have to apply these simple blankets of understanding

the only argument here should be that the only consistent thing about what these plant do is CHANGE

Nirvana is an awesome breeder and really cheap prices. The Attitude is a distributor, representing most all the reputable brands; if they aren't sold thru Attitude you probably should not buy them. Both Nirvana and Attitude are the sponsors here, paying for this site. They were chosen because of their outstanding value and service; you can't go wrong with them.

Royal queen seeds has some good fem seeds I have never heard anything about potency being affected because they are fem with seeds it can always be a gamble on pheno types but IMO fem seeds are more consistent. Just pick some strains you think you will like and then research them before you make a final deciscion.
