Feminized Vs Female (regular) Seeds

male seeds have the x and y cromosomes.
female seeds have the x and x cromosomes.
when your x and x female plant is environmentally stressed (battered wife) she can change to x and y his and hers (i am the fucking boss in this house male) cromosome, hermie.
feminized seeds have the x cromosome only (hardened bitch) to stress her you would have to put a gun to her head and pull the trigger, in otherwords she wont hermie with a few slaps, you would have to shoot her in the back, chest and head and she will just get mad before she kicks the fucking bucket.

female seeds are what they are......
buy feminized genetically grown (not female) seeds only.
and use a reputable trusted seed bank.
remember you only get what you pay for in this world.
you wouldn`t pay a couple of bucks for a prostitute would you, she would be a pretty fucking sight if you did, and she might turn out to be a hermie too..... and it might not be you that ends up doing all the fucking..... ouch!

reminds me of when paddy went to court and got fined 100 bucks for shagging a goat and his mate mick got fined 200 bucks for acting the goat.
remember if you want to produce your own feminized seeds you then buy female seeds (not feminized), say female diesel, and upset the light cycle thus producing a hermie plant, you can then pollinate a female plant with the pollen say a female x-line, you will now get feminized seeds from this plant which will be diesel cross x-line feminized.

now you have feminized hard to hermie seeds wink.
with only the x cromosome. and you can call them something like diesel x fire feminized.

see how easy it is when you put it in to laymans terms.

Feminized seeds are XX... They are not just a single X.

Feminized seed = XX
Female seed = XX

Are you drunk?

yeah I thought feminized seeds have a better chance of hermieing and don't like being "slapped" having a hermie mother and all..? Someone will correct me.

Feminized seeds do not have hermi parents.

True genetic hermi = XXY

A feminized seed is a female (xx) stressed to produce female polen (xx). This female pollen is then used to fertilize a female embryo (xx). If you draw a simple punnet square you will notice that the only possible outcomes are xx - female.

Naturally, stress induced female pollen is the result of bizare weather patterns and more often poor male to female ratios. Often naturally feminized seeds are due to a lack of early fertilization at which point the female will create pollen late in the season in order to produce a small amount of seeds. The seeds are imprinted with what you could almost consider a genetic history - they know that they are the product of female pollen and thus that there is a likely hood for another season of poor female to male ratios (a field of pure feminized plants wouldn't benefit the species). The resulting seeds have a higher likely hood of producing a few pollen sacs at the base of the plant early in flower. They are not true hermies but they do carry a a stronger tendency to produce feminized pollen than other traditionally fertilized plants.

If the feminized seed is the result of stress induced female pollen pollinating the same female plant that created the pollen (self fertilization), then the chances of producing nanners early in flower increases even more.

no, i dont drink, i dont smoke, and i dont take any type of drugs,
i only grow them as a means of making myself rich beyond your wildest dreams.

answer 1 question.

ok lets say you are going to buy seeds from attitude seedbank...

do you buy female seeds, or feminized seeds...

and yes there is a difference.

and you can bet your fucking life on it i am flowering feminized lsd if i change my light schedule to something different everyday they will only get confused and slow down the grow process, they will NEVER hermie, they only have 1 cromosome.

If you buy feminized seeds from the attitude you are getting feminized seeds - XX.

There is not only 1 chromosome... Where are you getting this information? Please read a horticulture, botany, or genetics text book.

I should also probably specify that throwing nuts "herming" does not mean that any chromosomal changes are taking place. A female (xx) that throws some nuts is still xx - it doesn't magically change to xy (male) or to xxy (true hermi).

i wish one of ya'll would settle the dispute cuz im confused and dont know wat to buy now :/
Aside from a few plant like animals who have two staged life cycles, plants and animals cannot function with half a genome. Just because a female is XX does not mean that the second X is redundant. In humans you get 23 chromosomes from your mother, and 23 from your father - you need 46 total. X+Y = 46. X+X = 46. If you had just X, you would only have half a person, neither a female nor a male, it would be a pile of goo because it just wouldn't work (this is a girls period). Plants have a different number of chromosomes but the idea is the same.
