it is mostly recomended to do it in veg, just takes a bit longer to revert back to veg and a bit of shock to the main plant.
try it next go round.
definatelly next grow once this one is done i will regenerate back to vegg and take some cuttings/clones.
but i think i have stressed my plants enough so far.
so yes after the possible harvest.
CHEERS.

Female seeds are usually junk from my friends that have grown them (locally)
This is where you need a mother plant to take clones from... Stick with reg seeds, once you understand how you make a seed which is supposelly always female is BS they usually turn out to be hermie..(now this is what all my friends suggest)

Just get more seeds, or have a run just to make seeds... But female moms are always the best choice...

does anyone know the reliability of them(under perfect grwing conditions).
i just spent several weeks to find out i grew a male/hermie.i would rather spend more cash on female seeds and start over again with maybe 5 or 10 seeds that way i wont have to stress about cross contamination.

any suggestions or help would be most appreciated.

I use female seeds all the time. Never seen a hermie. Thats probably more due to stress than anything else. Dont stress your plant, dont get a hermie.

So have you ever turned a a female seeds into moms?
If a seed will change sex on it's own, It's because it's not fully stable..

Almost every plant in the world is hermie, if it wasn't for use breeders most likely all you would have is hermie marijuana, inbreeding that takes place by naturally growing pot is almost evrytime hermie..

But back on the subject..
A stable strain or clone only strain will almost never go hermie unless if your intentionally trying to cube a male..

I reveg all the time, I have had this arguement a 1000 times on here.. But regardless I know how to make a female into a male... And how to keep a female a female..

once you understand the science of making female seeds you'll change your mind too..

Bottom line I feel they are unstable and Moms are the best idea for keeping female only strains...
