Feming or pruning /topping

I have been topping all branches is this good or bad?

Its not bad, your gonna grow a bush. Try to stop topping 1 1/2 to 2 weeks before you switch it to 12/12 though. Good Luck.

try to get as wide, even and full canopy as possible. That may mean only topping the tallest shoots in order to let the lower ones catch up.

I tend to top if I just want a few big colas growing straight up. I tend to FIM if I am scrogging.

I tend to do all of the above including tying branches, depending on what's necessary at the moment, bottom line though fill and spread that canopy, no empty spots under the light. I start by topping when younger.
