Hi,

Growing some semi-autos(middle east type) balcony grow,, got plant that I was positive to be female as it showed an impressive calyx and stigmas, clear as day! back in June,

However After going away to work for a couple weeks came back and was full blown male plant in flower, not a female flower anywhere,

is this just normal hermi behaviour ,,?

I have Collected and pollinated using this pollen, will this be prone to herm, fem seeds?

Any ideas? Thanks

The same thing happened to me today! I have 7 nice plants and noticed today that they are starting to go into flower. YAY! I was looking closely at all the wonderful baby buds and BAM a male plant! These are feminized seeds from Amsterdam that I always use so what the heck? I cut it off at the stem and threw it in the compost bin before I thought, WAIT! I can get seeds from this plant, right? Too late now. I could have had seeds to use next year instead of having to pay $45 for 10 seeds and having to wait two months!

You can always have a go making seeds next year,,,

just to point out this plant in question was a regular seed , not feminized

As Austin Powers once said "That's a not a women...its a man baby".

Anyways, if it shows intersex, kill it. No good for pollination.

Yep definitely a boy, just when the plant was young it had single fem flower at one of the nodes,,not had much experience with inter sex plants,,,
