Ya, my phone is a $35 Wal-Mart pre paid so the camera is pretty much crap. When do I collect them or do I just try to catch the pollen on wax papper When they open?

No. For a little more than the cost of that tiny bottle of solution you can buy silver nitrate and sodium thiosulfate and make gallons of solution. It's easy to mix. All you need is distilled water and a small scale to weigh the chemicals. You mix each one into a solution and then mix those solutions together. That product is a ripoff.

Thanks. How much of each would I need just to do a 2-3 plants. You I my have to spray them once or twice correct?

I bought 25 grams of silver nitrate and 4 oz's of sodium thiosulfate. I've reversed a dozen plants and have enough left to reverse dozens more. You only need 0.1 grams of silver nitrate and 0.5 grams of sodium thiosulfate to make 0.7 liters. That's enough to spray a couple of plants or more twice or three times depending on the size of the plants. You can get 2 grams of silver nitrate for $16.50 and 30 grams of sodium thiosulfate for $4.10 plus shipping. That's less than that small spray bottle and you'll have enough to make enough solution to fill a hundred of those small bottles.

What's up guys, I found this thread hoping someone could answer a few questions I have. I'm looking to make my own fems I already know the whole process of making and collecting pollen. One of my main questions is this. I have an mother plant prized pheno I kept for growing from clone. If I take pollen from one clone and pollenate another will the seeds be identical to my mother plant? Just in seed form? I'm looking to make a seed stock for back up. Also I'm new to this whole breeding thing.

From what I've found so far on this topic is that there still will be the chance of different phenos.

regs do not produce more thc. its not somehow genetically inferior or different because its a female plant.

please don't try to start shit read what I said..... fems aren't as stable as regs plain and simple. I don't see why people are doing cs/etc when the plant normally reproduces maybe because they only want females but that's them I want to have no problems in the future not saying regs cant cause problems too. it's all about genetics, in all the times I've ran fems I've seen them herm more than regs.

You might get lucky you might not. Recessives will come. You will need to hunt
If the clone is dear to yo keep it alive. For backup cross the mother to whatever say kush mints, then cross those seeds back to your mother. You can go tighter and take those back to the mother. More than likely by the time you do all this your mother may not be so special and you very well end up keeping one from the original cross.

I've never reversed an auto but you'd probably want to spray around week 3. You want to get it sprayed before it starts flowering. If I did an auto I'd probably hit it at 3 weeks and then again in a few days.

My goal isn't to breed dozens of strains. I am looking to make female seeds off a few strains, maybe cross 2 or 3, but still the goal is making female seeds. I don't have the room to keep mothers "and" grow different strains. With female seeds I can switch it up and not have to buy more seeds.

Feminized seeds from a reputable breeder are just about as stable as regular seeds...... The backyard seedchucker will not be as reliable depending on what and how they produced the feminized seeds
I've found lots of keepers in feminized form, as far as being "banging".... I've taken "banging" feminized females and cloned and selfed it to produce seeds, and while I suppose there is a very slight chance of getting different outcome from the 'banging" female, I never have in my experiences.....

The cs worked on the last auto, but I sprayed the shit out of it for a couple weeks. From what I've gathered I don't have to do that with sts, so I assume there is a window of when to do it. I will try it at week 3 and then 4, maybe that'll do it?

yea only if u get them from a reputable breeder. Its just on how its grown and bred. u can buy any fem and you'll most likely have no problems now if u start messing with "Fast" versions and breeders that just chuck shit to sell to people. In this case Im more thinking about the chances of getting some boof in a pack many places out there that give out like 10 seeds for like 100$+ and only like 3 of them germ and some of them will just be mutant bitches. so its really up to who u get them from. I've seen some major herms from fems from some seeds comps on the forum just got to look around it, That's usually where I can just see if people have problems with the breeders I look at. And a lot of these company's do send out replacements if their seed pack was complete shit. not smashing on fem just mainly the people that breed them to chuck them for no care of quality of the genetics.
