so today is my second week of them sprouting out of the ground. i notice all of them have female traits to them and my lighting has been a little wierd.
for the first 5 days i had 24 hours of light then the next 3 days it was 21 on and 3 off the next 2 days i left them for 24 hours then the 3 days i left it for 24 hours on and last night i did a 18 on and 6 off and today i already see traits of females can this be true??

my one plants bottom nodes keep turning yellow and dieing but the ones forming at the top look very healthy and its the second time i cut the bottom noded due to dieing any ideas? thanks

I suggest sticking with soil if this is your first grow. It is much easier. Make sure to keep your plants on a steady lighting time everyday! Once it is on 18/6, keep it like that until you are ready to go to 12/12. I don't really think you could be telling sex after only 2 weeks and not being in 12/12 at all. Upload some pics and let us have a look! Anyway, good luck in your grow!
