[FONT=&quot]One of my friends put me onto this group that is really trying to change things in Michigan and revolutionize the way medicinal marijuana is handled by the state.

I went to their website, read their Mission Statement and signed up. From what it says, it really seems that they are trying to do some good for the medical marijuana community in Michigan.[/FONT]

i think it looks pretty interesting. it does look like its just gonna be a large coop style group.


edited to add:
i dont think anyone should put their card numbers in until theres some accountability for where the info is going.

Hey Baron,

You basically got it. To wrap it up it a nice tight little bow it is a private network of patients and caregivers, all administered through a central point "Green Bridges the online compassion community". We are trying to push for this type of system as a solution to what the state currently views as a problem, and they can't seem to come up with a good one. I know there are a lot of people out there really wondering what the motive is behind this, and I can assure everyone there isn't one other than what I stated above. The site will always remain free, you just have to be verified before you can utilize it's services to the potential, for basic members it will be more or less a resource that hopefully helps some people out along the way.

delstele: Nope we will NEVER ask for any sort of bank info CC info, nothing. I guess it's kind of meant to be vague right now, pre reg just went on today.
djfloms: Believe I talked to ya, if so then hopefully I answered your questions, if not, then Spring 2011.
defcomexperiment: lol, Definitely not a coup style group my man. As I stated above, we are only trying to help.

Oh yeah defcom, card numbers are simply stored in a database, for our protection and yours. We need these things for the exact same reason a Compassion Club needs to copy your docs for. That's all...

What is it that we could or better yet would do with your card number? Anyone that has gone to a Compassion Club has gone through the same process. Last time I checked the card number wasn't some sacred and/or top secret thing. If anything it's a great thing because it identifies you as you within the MMMP.

only big issue with this is there is no contact information for the actual company, no phone number, no nothing at all to identify who we are giving our personal information to. the fact that we give our information to compassion clubs doesnt really matter as we get to see who we are actually dealing with. i prefer to know a little bit about the people im doing business with.

Yeah, I see it has lots of "access" to all sorts of free things that their are no links or explanations for. And best of all, like the above poster said, no contact e-mail address or phone number. WAY sketchy.

I am as of right now sole proprietor, though still a work in progress. We will be live by March 1st most likely. We may also change the name to (People's Choice 2/downriver) depending on how meetings go with possible partners. Purple Kush in the pic
