Nice! The blueberry gum was the one I was most excited about, and it's doing better than the other two, so I am a very very happy person lol.

Another little update, I fed my girls their first dose of nutes, looked like they were wanting them, so we will see if I get any burns. All of the doses were of quarter strength.

Also I rubbed a leaf of the deep grapefruit and it smelt really really fruity, like a grapefruit..and very strong, dunno if it should be doing that this early, but it is.

All I can say right now is I am very impressed by G13 Labs and Dinafem. I'm plotting my next grow and it should be G13 labs Blueberry Gum, G13 Labs Sour Candy or Hypnotic, Dinafem's Power Kush, Barney's Farm Violator Kush (since the one I have is a mutant and don't know its full potential yet). So two Kush Strains and two regular strains.

I will be moving sometime soon, so I will be upgrading to a tent and a 400 watt hps, but I will finish out this grow in my cab that they are in now, before I do the switch. I was thinking I could use my cab for veg, and then put them in the tent for them to flower, guess it would be a perpetual grow from then on.

Update:

I transplanted them to their final homes today, hopefully I didn't stress them out too much.

I am getting ready to veg under 250 watt feliz lights as well. I like the look of your girls. Could you post some more? I am excited to see how low they are. I noticed that the lights are hot. I have 6 of those in my basement and wow what a huge jump in temperatures. How far from the lights were your girls in the first few days? Good luck! I hope to see some pics soon!!!!

I will be posting pics of the girls tonight when my lights turn on.

They are doing well except the deep grapefruit, shes showing yellow spots and a spot of necrosis, dunno if its cause I nute burned her or what, or she needed the nutes and I didn't give her any before. The deep grapefruit's new growth seems to be doing well though, even the small mutant didn't get nute burnt, so I'm thinking she was lacking in nutes. As for them being low, they are staying pretty low and bushy which I was going for in the first place, and the lights do stay pretty hot, my cab's temp is usually 88 degrees, but right under the light it can go up to 107! I have the lights right around 5 inches away from the plants with a lot of air movement through my cab. And thanks chasmtz!!

I also went to my local hydro store today, and bought Humboldt's Nutrients White Widow to add on to my lineup. I'll be using only their line of nutes in my grow.

I am honestly very impressed. They must be pure indica. right? I am growing 2 strains from nirvana that are 50/50 indica/sativa. I think mine will end up a bit taller but I think lighting has the biggest impact on stretching next to the strain. Clearly things are working for you! I cant believe the diameter of the stock vs the height. awesome. Dude 2 weeks old! wow

Thank you! Yes I'm very happy with them right now, the others are doing well, they are healing and the new growth is doing well, just a little bump in the road. As for the strains the blueberry gum is I believe mostly indica with maybe 30% sativa, same with the deep grapefruit, and the violator is obviously a indica. Do you have a grow journal also? I would like to take a look at yours!

no grow journal yet because my grow room in the basement is not quite finished. I have all the lights hung and everything operational but my temps got so high that i realized i needed an intake fan as well as exhaust. I got the same exact fan ordered so ill add it to the room for intake of cool air. If this drops my temps, then ill start attempting to actually grow in it. I have some seeds started in my closet that i intend on butchering for clones. Im just getting this ball rolling as my wife and I just got our cards so we are legit now.

i actually didnt have to spend that much on them im good friends with the owner of the store near me he helped me out.. i got each hood and bulb for round 70 all togeather when usually the bulb itself is more than that.. and i keep my plants about and inch away if not under the hoodd that way the sides get nice lighting.. and never had any burning or any problems although i have a good bit of space.. and i also have an airconditioner in the room i keep the room at about 75 when the ligts are on and 60 when the lights are off.. its purping them out like crazy..

I used 250W 6000K Feliz for veg, and now using my 250W 2700K bulb for flower.What soil do you guys use? I've got MG Moisture Control and dont know exactly what im doing with it yet (over/under watering from Moisture Control... or nute burn from soil additives) Managed to hurt my first grow pretty bad, experimenting and hopefully going to get it soon!


3 weeks veg (5 weeks total) looking decent I suppose:




2 weeks into flowering :< buds are looking decent and ARE forming, but I just wish I didn't mess up somehow along the way and lose sooo many fan leaves!

Looks good! I use a feliz 250 also for my veg tent...love it.

i like the foxfarm ocean forest soil.. its like a synthetic soil.. very good for airating. gives all my plants that really good organic sweet smell and flavor..

I used Humboldt Nutrients line of soiless mix.

Unfortunately for this grow I had to cull the plants. But no worries, I'm coming back stronger than ever. With the new place and all, I have now A Secret Jarden Dr90 Twin tent, along with a Hydrofarm reflector, Lumatek 400watt digital dimmable/super lumens ballast, and Digilux bulb. For the top I'll be putting in a 2ft 8 bulb t5 for veg, and then bringing them down for a week or 2, with the mh before I hit them with 400watt hps. I still don't know what I should do with my 250watt cfl and reflector yet... anybody give me any ideas?

Also the new girls are DNA LA Confidential, DNA Lemon Skunk, DNA Sharksbreath, G13 Labs Bluberry Gum, and Barney's Farm Vanilla Kush. I also received 2 freebies that were DNA Rocklock, and DNA/Reserva Privada Confidential Cheese. How does that sound?

Hang the 250watt vertically and use it for side penetration. Or have it upside down under the canopy for super deep penetration.

Rocklock sounds like the play.
