So I went from this ...

To this in the last 12 hours.

Feels weird that I won't be watering, feeding, or an number of rituals I've been doing for the last 100 days.

You guys ever feel that way after harvest?

Yup -- when I was done I cleaned up overnight and suddenly everything was packed away. And it did seem a little lonely after! LOL Those babies kept me busy (and happy) so I sure did miss them when they were gone. That said, I do enjoy a little bit of them every night...

Next grow will be in the fall, when I know I'm not going anywhere. I'll have to stock up on stash before winter...

Nice colas, BTW!

I absolutely feel the exact same way... I'm always depressed right after I harvest. The empty tent, not having anything to do with that extra time, and the waiting for the dry and cure. I find I feel alot better when I'm enjoying the fruits of my labor... and even better still when I pop new beans.
What beans are up next for you?

After a harvest it feels like I just took a giant shit. God, the endless fucking trimming and chopping up stalks for disposal.

I love the feeling to seeing new tiny plants I won't have to fuck much with for another three months.

Ha! I definitely started planning the next one as soon as I cut mine down. I almost started right away, but I grow in my studio apartment and I do want periods of time when I can have guests and be social. So no grow tent for that! But August 1 I'm getting some Space Dawg babies going -- that way I'll be harvesting (hopefully) in late November and curing nicely by mid-January, when I'm going to be taking off for Burma for a few weeks.

perpetual, im just sayin thats what makes that empty feeling never to return.
I'll have buds coming out of my ears if I do perpetual grow.

But I do like keeping busy. Maybe I will grow some other herbs in there and start prepping the vegetable garden outside.

Hell, I'm not done trimming the buds yet. That's still several hours of work ahead of me

Glad i'm not the only one out there feeling a little down because the growing part is over. Thanks for the posts!

Yep, but after 3-4 months it feels like a relief to not have to deal with it for a little while. Then you start another grow, then you think why the hell did I start another grow? Then you realize why you did. It's a vicious cycle.

Yeah, that cracked me up. Be nice not to look up when I hear helicopters for awhile.

Oh, yeah...I'm an urban grower, and for those last four weeks, anytime I saw police lights flashing around my block I just kept walking by and went for a coffee for 20 minutes before coming back. I'm stealthy, so something major would have had to have happened for the cops to be near or in MY apartment. And if that's the case, I don't think my two little plants would have been the big deal. But I just kept walking, like in the movies.

Once, when I looped back, I saw the lights were from a meter-maid cart. LOL

For me, it seems like the closer I get to harvest, the more the paranoia sets in. Then after chop, can't wait to do it all over again

I always make.sure I've got some in all stages...it scares me to have to worry bout running outta smoke....so I make sure I don't...ha.....I always have at least one in flower...one in a thriving veg state...and a couple seedlings.....it doesn't take a big set up to keep it goin like this.
