Feeding with every watering?

Hey guys. I know this has been discussed before, but every situation is different. So hopefully someone can help me out. Soil grow (Fox Farms Ocean), 3 gallon airpots, 600 W HPS, Platinum P300 LED, 2.5 x 4.5 x 7' tent. AC in room. Temps about 78, RH around 35%. Alot of light for 2 plants, but I got hung up in the LED vs HPS debate.

I am growing 1 auto and 1 photo, both in 3 gallon pots. My auto is in about week 6 of flowering, My photo is going into week 2.

I water about every 3 days and wait till my pots are very light and need water. I have been feeding with every watering though. I use botanicare grow and bloom. I'm on bloom only with about 1/2 tsp of liquid karma and about the same of molasses.

My water is ph'd every time and my run off is excellent. I started PPM at around 200 and have worked up to about 800ppm per feeding on the auto and around 700ppm now on my photo. << It is slightly larger now then my auto since it vegged for some time (I thought both were autos when I started)

I had yellowing of some fan leaves on the auto starting in week 4 of flower, but it looks healthy otherwise. I added a small dose of Cal Mag at the time, since I use distilled water.

My schedule is on the lighter side (depending on who you listen to) I just wanted to make sure I want over doing it. It seems alot on here water every other time or once weekly.

I guess I got worried my schedule might be too much. I originally planned a DWC grow, then coco, then soil. So I have wrapped my head around all sorts of feeding schedules.

I used Feed-Water-Water for the longest time with much success. I recently switched to light feeding every time and have really been struggling to get things dialed in. My advice is to go with whatever works best for YOU. Since switching to feed every time, I keep getting to about 4 or 5 weeks in flower and notice significant yellowing and burning and I'm almost sure its due to over fertilization. At first I thought it might be light bleaching but I'm only running a 400W HID. I have even dialed the setting back to 250W super lumen (which is about 300W I believe)...still getting the yellowing.

The take away here is to watch for buildup with feeding every watering and keep the PPMs low - IMHO.

Its all about reading the plant.
Ive grown 9 plants together in 2 bags of soil never having run off. Fed every water as i noticed the soil was alkaline. Never phd or checked ppm just visual cues
Aaaaaand pulled a lb, with very healthy plants

Youd be surprised how little nutes it takes. Gotta get ratios right too

I guess that's where I'm at with my 1st indoor grow. I'm a relatively experienced grower, but not cannabis or really following any type of scheduled feedings. So not sure how to read them, especially with information overload on the web. I've always somewhat winged it with my palms and other tropical plants. Once I get a few plants under my belt, I'm sure I will breath easier. I gotta say, although I've always felt I had a green thumb and enjoyed this shit, I've never had a bond like I do with these two, lol. My dog is getting jealous.

I agree and originally planned on going very light. But, it's a 3 month commitment and I don't want to say I didn't do enough. Just want to get good results, quality over quantity. My highest feed was today at 850 ppm.

I wasn't worried about light, top looked good. My fan leaves were/are yellowing from the bottom. I was actually thinking it might have been calmmag deficiency, since I was going with distilled water or some other deficiency.
