Feeding tea

Ok, finally have everything set up and most the ladies transplanted so its time to start brewing teas. I'm new to brewing them myself but found a mix that I think will work well. However, how much should i give each plant in veg? I have a 300 gallon water tank I'm going to brew the teas in. If i filled it all the way up, it would give me about 4.5 gallons per plant. Would that be enough or is that overkill?

Not sure how much of each will be used yet. that's going to need to be dialed in but this is what i'll be using. (Besides the young ones, they'll only be getting casting, kelp and molasses for now.)

Earth Worm Castings
Mexican Bat Guano
Peruvian Seabird Guano
Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses
Liquid Kelp Extract
Humic

Yep. The plants love those teas. They are STRONG though. I get a little leaf tip burn if I don't dilute enough. Nothing too serious. I'm sure bigger plants would take it better though. My plants in the ground in 2012 ate that stuff up like nothing. Very good to have in your garden especially if you reuse soil or are groing in the ground.

How much do you mix up for foliage feeding? Never really done it before so not sure how much liquid to mix or how hard I should drench them. Everything I've read though, it's better off. Thinking maybe one hard drench root feed a week and one foliage feed

I tried foliar feeding with teas once but it clogged my atomizer lol. You REALLY have to strain it good. I would start off at a 25% solution and work your way up for foliar feeding.

Getting ready to start brewing my tea. So I brew the five gallons with the recipe I have but then when I go to spray it, I only use a quarter gallon of tea to every three parts water? So it doesn't burn them or clog the atamizer

I used to do recipes like those above me, realized it was all too much, KISS (keep it simple stoner)

All you really need for a tea to work its magic is kelp, fish meal, and quality worm casting and or compost and mollasses. The next important part is proper air, most common problem in AACT is not enough.

These ingrediants provide all your npks with out over doing it, and most of all, this recipe wont disrupt the micro heards in your soil.

Brew kelp meal and molasses for 12 hrs first, (needs to be activated) then add the rest in low amounts.
Per 5 gallons (meals are best! Ditch the bottles)
2tbs kelp
4tbs fish
2-4 cups worm compost
1/2-1 cup mollasses

Also this link will explain scientifically why its better to keep your tea simple

http://microbeorganics.com/

Im not talking down on other tea recipes, its cool if your soil isnt well balanced or established, but for those soils that are healthy, teas that are packed with stuff will do more harm then good! More micros does not create better herb, much more complex, but easy to accomplish if kept simple.

Btw heres a diy voretex that anyone can build for under 30$.
The air pump is the more expensive part, but also the most important part, so no cutting corners on air pump.

I know what you mean. Those teas are more meant to feed plants rather than the soil. In amended soil I only feed ewc, seaweed extract, and molasses tea. In flowering I will use guano teas to really push the plants though. You can over do it with guano teas though.
