feeding schedules

Hope everyone enjoying there holidays I had a few questions that I thought I can get some input on. This is my first hydro grow im basically using 20L pails with net pot lids my medium is hydroton and im using a top drip system on a cycle timer. basically my reservoir has 2 sub pumps one thats pulling back all the nutes from the pails and another one for feed. On to the question, so when i first started feeding i fed them often and they would get droopy so i reduced my time and also made feeds only when lights on. now that im in flowering im basically feeding them twice for about 2 minutes only when lights on. I'm not sure if i can give em more dont really wanna do any testing my pump pushes 844gph so i dont have drippers just steady flow to feed. Any suggestions on how often i should feed, i would like to feed them as much as i can. Using Botanicare line of nutes.

If they live and thrive in DWC, and they do, I don't see why increasing the number or length of feedings would be deterimental at all. My roots on my White Widow Auto filled her 5-gallon DWC.

i dont think that im running a DWC im basically feeding top drip every 4.2 hours the .2 because i dont want the timer to feed before the lights turn off i notice if i feed them in the dark period they show signs of overwatering. i just want know how often people feed with a cycle timer in a top drip recirculating system

I use a similar system and in hydroton, I feed my plants twice a day also, during lights on, my plants are healty and thrive, your plants are telling you they can't handle too much feeding and you did right in cutting back, you should be fine with twice a day.....happy growing.
