After fooling with ratios for a while, I found what worked best for me was equal amounts AND slowly working my way up to less than 1000ppm.
Using the amount of ml/L wasn't close enough...
And I fed to run off with every watering on a wet/dry schedule, not a time table.
In ProMix HP with 3 gallon fabric bags...

Short answer is yes. Starting at about 400 and gradually up to 1000. Some have had good results going higher but at 1250 I had problems.
It's a balance between watching the rate of growth and reading the color of the leaves before feeding more. Hopefully it doesn't get to the point of seeing obvious deficiencies. Something easily learnt over time....
The ppm reading was still the most helpful in judging how much is enough.
If you start to see burnt tips, back off a bit or at least don't increase the amount of feed at next watering.
Having said that, I was prone to feed Until I See burnt tips
Then I know it's enough, he, he...

Thanks .I have burnt tips as well. Its not major but there is a slight tip burn on both my plants. I've been feeding one of them at around 900ppm twice a week and the other at about 600ppm about 3 times a week. I might be overdoing it. Do you have to wash out the pot occasionally?
I have autoflowers and I only started giving them nutes in flower about a week or 2 ago. I was constantly checking my EC runoff until it got close to 0.1 and then I started giving nutes so whatever fertilizer was used in the "soil" definitely got used up before I started feeding. I have autos so maybe im overfeeding them since they require less nutes than photoperiods

I never do. I just feed basic nutrients and not all the stuff people dump on their plants these days.

Ohh okay. i thought since autos are smaller then they would need less. Multiple people that I've spoken to on different forums say that they usually don't exceed half of the dose from the nutes that I'm using. half dose is only around 750ppm. If I use half dose a week and need to water 4 times a week, it would be around 200ppm per feed so 800ppm a week. Not sure if that is a weak dose. My plant is about 22inches tall and second week of flowering. I guess I could try this and if I see deficiencies I can increase it slightly

Depends on the nutrient line. I couldn't feed recommended dose with AN but I can with Mega Crop.
GH Maxi series is still to be determined but so far I am @ 50%.
Also my last run of auto's the sizes ranged from 30" to over 48" !
And I don't go by recommended amount except to get a feel for how much is too much.
Mostly I use ppm/feed and watch for leaf tip burn.
