Feeding advice

Hi. I just fed my plant for the first time a couple of days ago and its looking healthy. I was planning to do a feed water feed water etc schedule. Now I know that I have to get runoff when feeding it so there won't be any built up salts in the media but should I also get runoff when watering it as well? because in theory, if I water it till runoff, I going to be flushing away those salts/nutes that are left in the media from the previous feed and the plant will have little to no nutes left in the media till my next feeding. Any advice would help a lot as this my first grow. Thanks

thats the idea as iunderstand it, out with the old and in with the new, the plant wont suffer from the salts being washed out, it should absorb eough when you feed them

Try to feed every time you water. If you have 2 one out of every 3 or 4 waterings can be just water. That just water would be a lil mini flush if you think you needed 2. The plant would rather have food than just water
