feedback needed for cfls

im thinking of getting two 150w cfl grow lights 1 is 6400k for veg and 1 is 2700k for flowering i jsut want to know from people that have them are worth the buy??

:peace::eyesmoke:Yep I think they are. I use two 125watt cfl's in econo bat wing refecters. two 6400k's for vegging and two 2700K's for flowering. They last a long time, don't gernerate so much heat that they are hard to vent. I've grown some killer weed with CFL's and will keepon doin it..,:blsmoke:

I often wonder why people choose to get one larger cfl oppossed to fewer smaller ones. With what we know about cfl light intensity. You want these lights almost ON TOP of your bud sites. By using 6 26w lights in a proper setup we can get much better disperion of our light, which is crucial to yield and potency.

that is true but i have seen enough pis to know that the yield is much better if you use better lights and my plan is to have a few 20w cfls around the plant with the 150w

so i got a 125w 6400k blue, 125w 25000k purple and a 200w 2700k red. check my grow journal in my signature
