i was thinking of going into DWC and i have done some research on it but i still can't seem to get down the feeding chart or what strength to start the nutes. out at and how often to put them up.
i also saw something about the ppm and was wondering if this was right
Seedlings, Early Sprouts 100 to 250

Early Vegging 300 to 400

Full Vegetation 450 to 700

Early Blooming 750 to 950

Full Mature Blooms 1000 to 1600

oh and i was planning on using sensi mirco/grow and bloom notes but if you think there is something better let me know
thanks much

PPM is relative to the strain, while having a baseline is good knowing your plants and their intake with monitoring is the optimum way to grow.

the numbers you posted look pretty close to what i shoot for with most strains if using a .7 conversion meter. i usually start clones at 350 or so and peak out at 1000 ppm (.7). just keep the ph between 5.6 and 6.1 and watch the movement of your ppms daily. if they are going down a significant amount everyday you should up the dosage by 10% or so next change out. if they are rising add back ph'd water only and decrease the strength of the solution next change out. good luck!

appreciate that info think you could give me a baseline and oh great grow thread looks amazing

Your numbers look good for baseline, just don't take them for gospel.

For example:

I like to be around 600ppm when my plants are maturing in veg. Some strains like it bit higher and some a bit lower, I monitor my ppm/ph daily for changes indicating what appetite my plant is showing at the current time. Lower PH means plants are being over fed, higher ph the plants are taking more nutes then water bump it up a tad. I have similar baselines for my plants like you have but I rarely are at them with the different strains.

Agree with above stated. Just wanted to add that if you are going to be using the same strains then keep a feed journal. Then the next time you go through a cycle you can actually push the nutrient a little more every week. Maybe do 100ppm more than the last cycle. That way you will find that strains peaks. Once you start to see burn then you will know to back it off a little and you have that week dialed in. May take you a few cycles but then you will know that strains peaks for each week.

ok thanks for all the info you guys! just one last question when i start giving to notes when the first 5 finger leaves come out do i start with 1/4 strength notes or lower?

Something to think about.. weeks 1-4 weeks of flower require tyipcally higher ppm dosage and past 4 weeks is significantly lower.. you have that backwards. The plants need the most food when growing bud formations and bud sites, then after they are started the plant backs down on eating and just hums along eating just enough to grow the flowers at a much reduced ppm.

You might want to rethink that, or you will burn up your precious flowers and get leafy but resinous buds that produce less then acceptable medication.

Anything with Advanced Nutrients are 1/4 dosages start in any hydro, that stuff is uber strong. I used PH perfect Sensi Grow/Bloom and it was battery acid with decent results, but I bought cheaper and more effective nutrient line now.
