When users of prescribed morphine, oxycodone, hydrocodone and all the rest are prohibited from owning firearms this might make sense.

So basically as long as you don't have a county issued card, and you don't admit to smoking pot when you purchase your gun; then they are none the wiser. I am not sure why you would flash your county issued card or toke up right there in the gun shop or talk about smoking, but if you do then you don't deserve to own a gun anyway.

Guns should require an IQ test or some test to determine if you are capable of safely owning and using a fire arm.
