where in the heck are all the humanoids that are still evolutionizing? monkeys are not turning into men, except here once in awhile I guess...
maybe it happens cyclicly? like every 25k years a beam of evolutionizing particle beam programming happens to hit our planet.

One day we're cave painting the next we're writing poems and have eyeglasses. We ride the ass of a horse for countless years then, all of a sudden we're on the moon.

one day growing really good weed was an elusive talent earned with study and perseverance and ancestry and now, in just 8 yrs in MI, everyone thinks they can grow really good weed as long as they have a card, or sumpin like that:P
it happens all the time. look how viruses change, constantly.........evolution

Soooo... this tail was found in amber. It belongs to a dinosaur. "A segment from the feathered tail of a dinosaur that lived 99 million years ago is preserved in amber. A Cretaceous-era ant and plant debris were also trapped in the resin." I doubt I'm the only one excited about this? Any opinions? Here's the link  http://news.nationalgeographic.com/2016/12/feathered-dinosaur-tail-amber-theropod-myanmar-burma-cretaceous/View attachment 3852291
that's pretty cool man, but they discovered the archaeopteryx 160 yrs ago, that was the catalyst for many evolution arguments

right around 1840-1870 was the golden era regarding discoveries on that
fascinating stuff

anybody that doesn't believe in evolution should battle spider mites for a bit, and watch them evolve in front of you...
or rodents..

Sometimes these threads just need to be bumped from time to time. Pretty cool to think about feathered dinosaurs, ya know?
Absolutely, they're fascinating, there's so many unexplored terrain, mountains, forest, sea and jungles, new species of animals, bacteria, micro-organism being discover everyday, there's animals that goes through millions of years without changing much of their appearance like the crocodile

Yeah I often wonder what kind of fossils Antarctica is hiding.
My all time favorite quote by Bruce lee
I'm a big fan of his
Have you seen birth of the dragon?
No, I haven't seen it but I did research it just a little bit after reading your question. I love Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story. Obviously I like Enter the Dragon. This movie you suggested seems really cool. It's about his fight with Wong Jack Man in 1965?

Ya, little is known about what lies beneath those ice in Antarctica, I think BBc or national geographic funded a film crew a few years back to excavate what they can, let me see if I could pull something up

I can believe in intelligent design, only in that physicist are coming to the conclusion that our existence is possibly digital. This all could be a historical simulation programed by our future selves.
When you break matter down far enough you get ,,,,,,, data. Not good for theology when you realize that God is your great great great great great grandson and you are his 6th grade, computor science/history/anthropology project.

Anyone believing in creationism believes in it because they want to, irrespective of facts/reality.

Yes, in a holographic universe type scenario the above post is correct and intelligent design reigns...but evolution is still happening within that framework.

pointless trying to have a conversation with anybody who chooses to believe something because they wish to, closed mind, circuitous conversation

Higher reasoning and logic ends where faith begins.
This planet has been habitable long enough for human evolution and extinction/exodus to have occurred multiple times with little to no trace of the previous incarnation. Especially if we had to leave in a hurry.
All these species we are finding are the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what actually inhabited this planet.
Typically an animal dies and decomposes completely. This preserved tail tells a huge story.
To get an idea how quickly a civilization or species can be erased watch life after humans.

breeding , genetic memory, mutation all happen over time. The past 5 to 10 thousand years have seen a surge in human genetic diversity. changes in a single gene can produce a major difference .

There is a newer model o human evolution. instead of it being a straight line.
like this...
evolution_of_man.gif
it was more 3 dimensional with more stages, some existing simultaneously and interbreeding creating others.
