I have not messaged you since I reported you selling equipment over RIU a month ago or so, when I gave you a heads up its against the rules here.
Just cause a mod stepped up and gave you a talking to your going to call me a "Pedo" and leave vulgar messages on my visitor board...

so whats the deal with fair enforcment of the rules, around these parts.. Isn't name calling an infraction? I got an infraction for " Just Saying ;)" but its ok to call people pedos ?

I didn't trim the bottoms of my first 4 photoperiods I just harvested. I did get a lot of spindly lower branches with tiny buds. I will trim the next batch. It was a real pain spraying for mites on the untrimmed plants. I think I picked up the mites on some black widows that I got from someone I know who had a friend etc.

i just dont see how referring to having cat poop in your soil is useful information... Noobies might see that a say just like i did, "hey this guys post count really high, so ill do what he is doing" and goes out and uses cat poop in their grow, just to have it die and lose their grow...

not useful at all...

that would pretty much be every thread i post in.

this is an actual grow related, info thread. look where everyone has taken it.

yet the blame keeps falling in my lap. and year after year, ... i deal with it.

i'm such an EVIL person. :fire:

if you don't find it useful, don't do it.

how long you gonna cry about this?

you asked a question and i gave you an HONEST answer. you want me to make up some bullshit about some "secret mix" i use. there simply isn't one.

i am not here to be a hero. do whatever you want.

This year instead of topping, I FIMmed a few plants and am LST'ing the rest. It's an outdoors grow so it's not like I don't have the headroom. But I prefer bushy, compact plants, and if they get too tall, thye can be seen over a divider between the back yard and the side yard, which does see a small bit of traffic. Stepdaughter is living in the garage and uses the side door for friends and family. Fortunately she has few friends and spends all her waking time in front of a puter playing WOW and role playing in Anime chat rooms

So far I'm liking how the LST'ed plants are doing better than the FIM ones...not that they are doing bad at all

If you weren't such a noob you would know that in the right proportions cat crap is a valid soil amendment, you might want to change your cats diet to somthing more organic but thats your choice, horse crap and silage containing pigs crap and chicken crap are also valid amendments.

Everyone on this site recomends that noobs research their own problems and setup not just go on what someone says!

You wana talk cat crap soil amending please start a thread and pm me so i can give you all the details you seem not to have researched. Should i call you a fool or just let you wallow in your own ignorance?? Seriously stop digging cause you seem to know nothing about soil amendments.

Often where my cat craps in the garden the following season that patch grows the best veg! Now do one with the cat crap or do your own research! Peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I trimmed all the lower branches but left the bigger fan leaves, buds are still looking bigger than if i had not trimmed. I have started to LST with the pruning and just aiming to get top buds and nothing else, should be good. Peace

Ah my plants are looking ugly, just worked through pH and flushing only to get thrips, mites and knats, only just dealing with them but i am about to post a picture of a healthy seedling with no purple stem as i see all my purple stems have nothing to do with genetics or the temp but overwatering. I have learnt a valuable new gardening term and that is 'PRICKING OUT', damn those peat pellets, i knew they were the cause of my seedling overwatering, now i water a lot less and upon germination and root development i 'PRICK OUT' as much of the seedling as possible from the peat cube and transplant to seedling soil, perlite/vermiculite and a dash of lime to sweeten.

I am thinking of a different method of germination now, maybe just straight seed in soil. Simple really dose make it better!

May i just say i prefered it when i was ignorant to growing plants, they really are simple to grow but complicated and complex to get right, even now years on i still struggle to get the watering and soil mix perfect, not just good but perfect. Couple of years time and i want to move into commercial hydroponic vegetables so i guess this is all good practice. Peace and screw you weed plant for being so damn fussy!

You can tell it has been well hacked at, is there a round abouts number of tops you aim for? I only go for four but i have a short veg time, i find any more and they get a little spindly.

You can hardly call that a lollipop now, more of a mushroom!lol!

i just keep an eye on it and try to keep the strongest growth. anything that looks like it's falling behind i trim.

i'm trying to keep it below 6 feet. not sure if that's gonna be possible or not.

Depends how long till flowering on how short you can keep it i suppose. The pruning has been extreme, could have been a big bush by now. Six foot sounds like it will yeild a fair amount, shame it would take too lond to train or lst every single top for a really big yeild.
