watched one of john wayne gacy today.. he was a bit of an odd ball, and not really near the top of my list..
i really do have quite the fascination with serial killers though if i may so myself.. watch lock up all of the time on msnbc on the weekend nights and have fallen in love with the id channel lately..

Ditto, Ed Gein gets my vote. He inspired so many great horror film classics. My favorite of all time is Sawney Bean and his cannibalistic inbred clan. Google him, it's a great read.

I agree with you this guy is too weird. He is the kind of neighbor you help move out of the neighborhood and applaud when he is gone.
Im fascinated by the Son of Sam and Charles Manson. There is a book titled "The Ultimate Evil" that tries to link the two to a Satanic cult called The Process. It points out a lot of inconsistencies in the Son of Sam witness testimonies and raises the possibility there was more than one killer.

Technically speaking, they're not SERIAL killers. And it's the cholesterol and fat and sugar that leads to diabetes, heart disease, etc, etc. They aren't classified as SERIAL killers, meaning a direct patterns of murder and motive.
