sometimes nothing but the scent will transport me back to some distant memory.
Ok, it didn’t come from Indiana! It came from Illinois! Somebody said that back in the day an it stuck but it was widely known to be circulated out of Illinois. Adam Dun recently ( in the last year or so) has admitted to promoting that information and that he was wrong.I was not aware until recently that some of the delicious bubblegum phenos originated in Indiana. If anyone knows some of the history of Indiana bubblegum i would really like to hear it.
As I have enjoyed the thread, White Widow keeps coming to mind as really one of the key breakthrough "discoveries" that changed everything. Like pre 98 Bubba Kush it has been crossed into seemingly everything.
The bums even call it Indiana bubblegum now.Ok, it didn’t come from Indiana! It came from Illinois! I find the same.sometimes nothing but the scent will transport me back to some distant memory.
I find the same.
One big haul I'm in blisstown, a half second later BAM! I flash back decades to when I'd had it before.
Even see the scene around me as it was the first time, with the taste and smell powering the memory.
It's really interesting how the mind works.
Yes peakseedsbc has straight blueberryPeakseedsbc has original crosses not sure if they have straight blueberry
anyone heard of Piff?
Ya NYC piff right?
I took in a Black Haze x Piff S1 cut and a Cuban Piff cut last month on a trade. probably never grow them out but ill keep em on the back burner for trades. in Texas we never really saw these strains circulated in the 90'syessir that's all I know I was younger and didn't really pay attention I just know Piff was legit, was near CT at the time 2000s
Damn, that's a nice score man, can't believe your not gonna flower them haha... I had my eye on a Black Haze cut on Strainly but they wanted $900 for it... too rich for my bloodI took in a Black Haze x Piff S1 cut and a Cuban Piff cut last month on a trade. probably never grow them out but ill keep em on the back burner for trades. in Texas we never really saw these strains circulated in the 90's
That was the Houston tops my man!Texas pine bud (Houston), Xmas bud and Purple Afghan. Loved the 90s.
What strains remind you of it most ?It's a long, long shot but you never know?
When I younger seeded Afghan was the standard in grass, a friend/associate started dealing a little bit hash/grass, one time he arrived with this bit of amazing bud, real sensi lol.
Even now I occasionally get bits of bud that know is related to it with the taste.
So in uk late 80s what strain could it have been?
I know it could have been one of 100s but I'm looking for the usual suspects so to speak.
From memory it was more golden/light brown than green, it had a medium sweet spicy flavour really pungent.
I'd love to find it, I've never had any thats been similar in flavour only hints of it in various random bits?
I know it's a long shot but I don't expect there were to many strains available in the UK at the time?
i've got n afghan kush that looks exactly like that
Tbh it's unusual for anyone to sell grass/bud buy it's name, the name has become irrelevant because of people cutting corners and having limited experience, even when the name gets a mention I'm oblivious to it because of the above. What strains remind you of it most ?
that's why I like the old school breeders , more accurate chuckingTbh it's unusual for anyone to sell grass/bud buy it's name, the name has become irrelevant because of people cutting corners and having limited experience, even when the name gets a mention I'm oblivious to it because of the above.
That’s the long way of saying I've not got a clue lol?
