faucet mount water filtration....

I usually use tap water for my ladies. I let it set 24 hrs. first because Im on city water and you can smell the chems in the water. Yesterday I bought a dupont faucet mount filter. It says it kills 99.9 % of microbial cysts, cryptosporidium, and giardia... It says it reduces lead and mercury, basically it improves the clarity of the water.
Anybody on here ever watered there girls with filtered tap water without letting it sit for 24 hrs? Experianced replys and opinions welcome...Thanks.

The tap filters generally just filter out the things that taste funny or make your water cloudy. Does this benefit your plants? Of course. However treat it like it is still unfiltered tap water when mixing your nutes. It takes a actual R/O membrane to filter out the true badies.

If you have a walmart close by, they have RO water for 37 cents a gallon. bring ur own jug....
