fatter buds!

how do i get these buds to fatten up a little bit... outdoor in ground using fox farm fert... also Im in the PNW Washington there has been a few nights with the temp dropping to or below 32 and three of the plants are turning purple. will they be ok?

I think they have 2 more weeks. also I here putting sugar at base will fatten up the buds is this true?

I dont know but they look nice

Mother nature is going to do most of the work.... blackstrap molasses in moderation might be a consideration... not sure about the sugar thing... but best of luck!

Keep in mind..., growing outdoors you have the best power supply known to man Genetics play a huge role outdoors*... those buds are only gonna get "so fat"

* indoors too of course... but it's safe to assume the light is PROB not the case here....

I assume when you say Sugar you mean molasses, no it does not fatten up your buds it makes an ideal environment for beneficial bacteria

Molasses is widely used for the reason I mentioned, that is it

the weather here has been good to me for my first grow, out side the freeze... been nice and sunny all day... dont happen here this time of mounth to often. and ya I talking about the molassis stuff.

The person who told you to put sugar in the soil gave you bad advice. I would never listen to them again about growing.

looks good i say and 2 more weeks yee

time will fatten them up...................

Plain sugar is not what they want. Any brand of 'unsulphured molasses' will work. It is not necessary to spend the extra for Blackstrap, and any can be found at the grocery store. Just make sure it is unsulphered.
1 tsp/ gal is fine.
The purple you are seeing is most likely from the cold snap, but sometimes genetic.

Unsulphered blackstrap molasses, turbinado sugar, or Advanced Nutrients bud candy work very well..

i use DNF Bloom Fortifier

The majority of bud development happens between the 3rd and 6th/7th week of flowering. I have found that dry kool bloom increases my yields and makes my buds much denser and fatter. It works particularly well on indica dominate strains though I have had good luck on Super Silver Haze and several other sativas sativa/dominate strains. If your interested in going down the nonorganic road, this is your best bet. Get it to them ASAP since your two weeks out. I feed them the kool bloom for a week and then flush with water for 10 days. The actual increase comes out during the flushing oddly enough. I have never had temps beat me up like that as I grow indoors so I am useless to speculate on that end. They look good though!
