Day 37. the difference between the 2 girls from the same pack , treated exactly the same!
Yup, looks like an example of big pheno variation. It'll be interesting to see what other characteristics they share, if the smell/taste/high end out being more similar than their initial appearances.

Also important, if despite their differences they both turn out top quality buds. In the end if they are both plants you like, that might be all that matters.

Edit; and both look really healthy, so that's good!

fast buds for impatient people

i.e cash cropper

the black market has been flooded with auto flowers my assumption is they are easy for quick turn around and profit, the faster the product is marketable the faster you get paid
I'd assume if you were a black market grower you would want to do photos and clone cheaper in the long run

I don’t understand what all the fuss is about really! If ya don’t like them then don’t grow them and leave the people that do like them alone, I love growing and training autoflowers I find them challenging and the smoke I get at the end is still better than I can usually get where I live! And I know what has gone into it .

I bought a large roll of the stuff from a sale . It’s pure copper with a clear coating on it, I just cut to size and bend and it is 2mm

[/QUOTE their isn’t much difference in cost from autoflower to photos as autoflower use more electric but not as much nutrients but mor work has to be put into a autoflower to get a good yield not like a photo which you can top/ supercrop and what ever you want to .really so the cash cropping with autoflower is balls in my opinion.

Basically
I dont think hes moving any ridiculous amount of weight tho so its probably more his hobby and way to supply his own use, in that case autos are totally viable.

a little less predictable and a bit more finicky in the seed stage but autos definitely have a place in commercial cultivation and the home growing market.

having said that..... I have been growing autos and photos for almost a decade now nonstop and I have to say if your looking to maximize efficiency and yield in an indoor setting with minimal margin for error (overhead costs) a predictable clone is going to be the way to go every single time. plus they use less light and you can control temps better with 12/12

outdoors tho its another story. mixing in autos through the season gives you a nice steady crop of bud through the season (and even winter if you have a greenhouse) without having to deal with the pain in the ass of pulling tarps for light dep.

I think autos are the future. someday when this lame ass legalization drops the prices of weed so low its no longer worth stealing we will see "dwarf cannabis" sold in home depot and lowes stores for little old ladies to grow mixed in with there zinnias and tomatos like most other herbs today.
