Fast outdoor grow?

So here, there are about four months of outdoor growing season left so... Can you start seeds late in the growing season for a 'quick grow' and related to that, Will flowering still occur naturally outdoors if you sow them late and they are only around a foot tall with about two months of the season left? In other words, is it possible to use the natural growing season similarly to someone growing indoors forcing a plant to flower?

any comment appreciated...

From seed, the plants take 4 to 6 weeks to reach sexual maturity. Flowers usually first appear at the sixth node, plus or minus. Once you see flowers, maturity will be reached in about eight weeks for most strains.

It never hurts to try new things.

Very late now, plants are well into flower. So yours will have no time to veg, will be small.
They'll veg for 4 to 6 weeks until they reach sexual maturity. At this late time, the plant could still get three feet tall and produce an ounce or two, assuming no mistakes are made.

4 months of growing season left? where the hell do you live?? it will be christmas in 4 months??
The question is sort of hypothetical and seasonal changes are unpredictable by a few weeks at best but if i have to protect them for a week or two, then it is, what it is

I start the year's plants in December, in a greenhouse, after sprouting them under lights. They need warmer conditions to germinate, than to grow, once sprouted.

In the desert, I really doubt they'd survive. Cannabis and frost don't play well together.

Build a small greenhouse or cold frame if you want to try it. Started in late December, my plants are usually done flowering by the end of April. I keep a heater with a thermostat in the greenhouse. To ward off cold snaps.
