image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg hi guys 8 weeks in on fast and vast auto. They are in 10l pots in Wilma hydro system. I've been giving them just water for the last 3 days but I'm thinking maybe I should chop a couple bigger colas or trim loads of canopy back so lower buds get some light. If anyone has a thread that I could look at that would be great cheers[/ATTACH]image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Sorry for multiple photos it wouldn't delete the duplicates and please ignore the comment about chopping the buds. I only need to know if I should chop back canopy many thanks

I'd be inclined to give them a light trimming, just enough to expose any buds in shadow to the light... There's a ways to go until finish yet...

Will it really stress them out if I chop main colas (when ready obviously) or can I chop and still leave the rest to fill out? Peace

Generally when she's done she's done. The whole plant.
I have heard of sativas being harvested as they rippen, as they take so feckin' long to flower. Yours is obviously sativa, but I hardly ever grow them so couldn't say about harvesting in stages..
You will probably find it all rippens at the same moment, hence the need to expose buds now.
In answer to your question; Yes, it will stress them out if you chop the main colas... unless they are ready (which seems unlikely imo)

No, you can chop the main colas and leave the rest of the plant under the lights as long as you want based on my experience. I typically trim my plants in two stages. Get all the big bud on all the plants and then go back and finish them all.

None of your plant looks done, but if main colas finish before the others then cut them and wait for the rest.
Seems logical...
