Farmers White Rhino CFL box

hey
this is my first journal and i'm a little late, but it's better late then never i suppose.

my lovely lady is named laura. a beautiful white rhino from green house seeds. i ordered the black/white mix. i have the unnamed white widow outdoors.

i am using a grow box that i constructed and its running with 8x24wats cfl's; 4x2700k 4x6500k. i think i should replace the 6500's with 4 more 2700's. any suggestons?

Laura was vegged under 18/6 light cycle for approx 50-60 days. i flipped the switch to 12/12 on july 7th. and she started showing 5 days later.

flowered for 2 weeks so far.


i used fox farm big bloom, tiger bloomm, and grow big products. also humbolts snowstorm ultra.

Well, I would say that they look fantastic to me. Nice shade of a healthy green. Multiple budding sites. I would switch them into Flowering now. But thats my 2cents. :)

ive got a few buds on it forming. my camera isnt the best tho. cant seem to capture the full beauty of the moment lol.
well 6-7 weeks to go!

thanks for the input, i already put them in 12/12 bout 2 1/2 weeks ago. i almost think i waited too long to flower.

hey guys i got a quick question???

should i take out the clutter under the canopy that doesnt really get any light?? and will that have any effect on my bud size?
ill show pics later tonite. but any input would be greatfully appreciated :bong: :weed:

If you're already in flower don't trim anything away. If it isn't needed by the plant it will eventually fall off on it's own.

looking good man, nice healthy plants.
i wouldnt touch the lower branches too but u can cut them off, all the way to the topp-its called lollipopping, and its purpose is that plant will put all its energy to top buds:)

yeah ive seen a few of those. they look beastly. but its jus 1 plant flowering :hump: i got a blue hash thats been veggin for about 4 weeks. ill update some pics here in a sec :D

I always cut my lower branches because I want 1 main cola.I dont find much use for popcorn buds and thats what lower branches below the canopy do.So you can cut the lower branches and the plant will focus on 1 main cola...

yeah i'm planning on doing that on my next indoor grow. idk how smart it is to be payin for school wit grow money lol, but i also feel that education should be free to all. wtf do you have to pay for? people should be lined around the world and back to educate the future. such a sad thing this world is tho.

sorry lol really into the progression of where we're at right now as human beings and as residents of earth. everyone seems to be happy with this bullshit of a place that we call "home" though... we have such a greater potential.

hadda get some green myself :D but to bad its some ditch lol. fuckin schwag. but thats why im here doing this right?

first is my blue hash plant. been vegging for month and i've topped the plant. i really wanna start flowering but i have no room in the growbox :(. any suggestions??

then we got this beast over here named laura. beautifull white rhino. but its gettin to be some thick foliage!

:D thanks. im tryin to keep these alive. i tried to grow once before but the finish wasnt good at all:-|. i've definatly done my research this time. and invested in some nutrients so hopefully all goes well. jus gunna keep my fingaz crossed and hope for a little lady luck :hug:

Just keep at it, my man. I'm only on my second run, but I learned TONS the first time around. Like don't cheap out on necessary equipment. I built an enclosure out of 6mil plastic sheeting and PVC piping. It worked, but the tent that I just got from HTG is much better (and stronger) and didn't cost me much more. The DIY one that I built cost me $64 in tools and supplies, plus about 3 hours to construct it. The tent cost me $75(plus shipping) and only took 15 minutes to construct.

Anyway... keep it green, bro!
