JEff, you act as if the only terrorists are Muslim....Ive seen you rant about sharia law, the mosque in NYC, and ANYTHING at all concerning the subject of Islam.
You have a strong fear and hate for an entire religion because of the acts of a few. You then refuse to apply the same standards to any other religion, your only target is Islam.

You then (i think) mention 6 year old being searched, somehow dragging the TSA into all this......I used to have to deal with crackheads a lot when I was younger, having a discussion with you has an eerily similar feel to it.

hey, as soon as granny and 6 year old girls start blowing shit up en mass, i will be the first one thumbing through their poop. until then, focus man, focus.

if you were looking for a serial rapist in your community, would you start by searching elderly women and eight year old boys? or would you concentrate on males?

every single tsa agent picked the elderly woman and the boy..... apparently

Ok so your point is that Muslims are responsible for terrorist attacks here in the USA, well guess what so arent Christians....if you wanna search every person w/ brown skin or a burqa then you should also understand searching every white person wearing a cross or anything else that shows their Christian faith...............treat all religions the same and treat all extremists the same Jeff.

...treat all religions the same...
However they are not the same, so why would you want treat them as if they are? One preaches love thy neighbor (however not so many practice it), and another teaches 'convert, subjugate, or kill non-believers', and yet another teaches 'never harm any living being'. I disagree with any form of theism, but do see the dangers when one still has it's head in the 13th century while it possesses 21st century technology.

You know what the bitch about stereotypes are? They're built on fact and experience...

NO, the real bitch about stereotypes, is that they are for non intelligent people that would rather assume a blanket statement as fact than seeing reality for what it is. As for Christians "loving thy neighbor" were the Crusades just a giant love fest?

And for a culture with "its head up its ass" just how much debt does say Saudi Arabia or Jordan have compared to us? Think about that for a minute and tell me who's head is up whose ass.

For whats its worth I treat all religions the same : SUPERSTITION

In reality, every single person I have known apply stereotypes to one degree or another. I highly doubt that you are an exception. See below...

When did I defend Christianity or the crusades? I am critical of Islam because it seems to be in the middle of it's own crusade, why would I try to justify one and not the other?

And for a culture with "its head up its ass" just how much debt does say Saudi Arabia or Jordan have compared to us?
Never said it had it's head up its ass... but you're right, the Arab culture does (and so do we to a certain extent). What does debt have to do with this argument here?

Think about that for a minute and tell me who's head is up whose ass.
I'd say yours to be quite frank. I was discussing certain religions, and you bring up nations and their debt. What does that have to do with religion?

We are talking about modern times, and you bring up the crusades - while all the time ignoring my disclaimer on Christianity of "(however not so many practice it)".

You then misquote me with the 'head up its ass' thing, which I never said (I said "with it's head in the 13th century while it possesses 21st century technology.")

For whats its worth I treat all religions the same : SUPERSTITION
You're still stereotyping, by putting a blanket statement across all religions in general, instead of breaking each down on its own merits...

Do you ever look at a Hell's Angels biker and think there's just as much chance that he kicks back at the end of the day with some smooth jazz and a nice bottle of chardonnay, or hard rock and beer? Do you walk through a slum and expect to have the same chance of being robbed as you would in an upscale neighborhood? If you were to choose between any man and any woman in an arm wresting contest, would you expect one to win over another and if so, who? See what I'm getting at?

Stereotypes are guides to help us form expectations, and to keep us from having to relearn each and every experience in our life. Does that mean they're 100% right all the time? No. Are they exaggerated at times? Absolutely. Should you base all of your of your judgment of people on stereotypes? No. Also, they evolve as different situations are experienced that break outside of those assumptions. It is all part of the cognitive process, it's how the human mind works.

Like I said, fact and experience.

the crusades were a few centuries ago....concentrate on the current threat. no crusades on the radar. one particular type of people, blowing up shit everywhere, all the time, around the world. concentrate.

do you drink caffiene? they say it interferes with concentration. just trying to help

i really hope that dripped with sarcasm

i wasnt talking to you in 1/2 of your quotes of me.

As far as experience, Ive actually spent time in the Middle East, have you? If not, dont try to feed me your horseshit about "experience", how many foreign countries have you lived in? How many foreign cultures have you experienced first hand? Theres my "fact and experience", tell me yours world traveler.
I work as a tattooist. I meet bikers, cops, ganbangers, preachers, politicians, people from all walks of life. I hardly need life lessons or your "wisdom"

I brought up debt in reference to your view of a culture being somehow superior to theirs. We cant even balance a checkbook or run our own government smoothly, I hardly feel superior to them or anyone else.
You seem like an intelligent guy, well thought out post,.........sad to see you agree with Jeff, maybe you should read through some of his posts. Might surprise a man of your intellect to know that he agrees so strongly w/ an openly racist, homophobic bigot like Jeff.
