fans??

If I have a 440cfm at the back of my light. And a 800cfm fan on the front pulling threw a filter should I be getting 1200cfm at the exaust exit?

Nope you'll have losses from the filter hood and ducting.

Ok I know I'll have some loss but can two fans be put in line like that?

I think it's alright, I would just make sure your bigger fan isn't destroying your smaller fans motor when you're running them. It's probably better to utilize them separately.
