Fan placement. HELP!

Hey guys! Heat killed my laughing buddha, but my other 3 plants came out PERFECT! It was great, however, I don't want to deal with the plant loss due to heat stress again!

I bought a 240 cfm inline fan and hooked it up to my window hoping this would solve my problem, but I'm STILL getting temps up in the mid 90s.

Current setup consists of a 190 CFM fan on top with carbon filter, 240 CFM fan on bottom (I know, should be more powerful one on top, but the 190 is a much "better" fan), and then 1 oscillating fan. I was pulling air from inside the house today and it was at 93 degrees, 2 degrees colder than when I was pulling the air from outside.

I'm running out of ideas besides just spending 400 dollars on an AC unit, but I can't spend that. I was thinking an air cooled hood, but is there any way I can just fix my current set up???

I know my curtain has a gap at the top, I'm wondering if that's part of the problem, other than that, what can I fix guys!? THANKS!

First of all do you have as oscilating fan in there ? to mix the air ? if you dont .. go buy one its cheap and its really important...
Another thing controling temps with bare bulb if outside your room the temps are also "high" its a bitch .. belive me i know
AC would be the a big big help off course but if money its a problem try cooltube you can attach it your reflector easy , its not expensive and its the best way to control your temps better even than Cooled wood's . you have fan's that connect directly to the cooltube. and do a great job , and its not expensive at all maybe you will spend 50 dollars in cooltube + fan or less. plus 15 or 20 if you add an extra fan to intake at cooltube exhaust , and that would be perfect.
But if you go cooltube , give a heads up , cause the way you connect will play a huge role on its efficiency.

Dont let your temps get too high for too long cause cannabis at high temps will close her stomata and stop breathing .. and that will severely affect your yeild and overall quality.

PS: Fans have more efficiency pushing than pulling.

Good Luck.

Another thing , whats your lighting ? i see an HPS right ? and another CFL over there i think ? .. if yes, get ride of the CFL .. they are not to hot but non the less they produce heat also , and they are doing nothing .. the hps is more than enought for plants that size.

Dude first off thank you for bein so thorough, you answered my question and way more! I do have an oscillating fan, you can see it at the bottom on the right in the last pic. That cool tube is a great idea I'm going to definitely start with that. Thanks again man, I'll visit this again in a bit when I have a sec.

oh ok i see it , but you want it at least at the line of your plants or higher , blowing directly to them! They Love IT !

Hey just wanted to update, I ordered one of those cool tubes and the temp hasn't gone over 75. Thanks very much for the tip, I got it on Amazon for like 40 bucks and works amazing!

Glad it work's for you , with plenty of air circulation you can go to 85F in Canopy level , and gain some light efficiency , cool tube will make you lose 10% or 15% against bare bulb . but sometimes allow you to keep it much closer , so you end up gaining more than you lose ;)
