Thank you for this, need help. I do have one more issue that I need help with. The plants did not get sun for May until June 20th, then it’s been all bright sun. My Gush Mintz plants, the fan leaves are wilting somewhat…the stems are all purple and it looks like they might be getting too much sun. I’ll show pics and it’s not a usual heat stress and they are watered appropriately…I just don’t know what I should do…please help…

Yeah, just throw some stones on the bottom of the hole
I’m gonna grab some 10 or 15 gal grey pots to transplant in. The ground has gnarly root systems. Im using ocean forest and started clones in mid May, so you think I’ll need nutes for the rest of veg or bloom? Can’t thank you enough! Really

I would say your probably a week or so from running out of what was in the ocean forest. If you transplant into bigger pots with more ocean forest, you should be good for the rest of veg. You will beed bloom nutrients.

Ok will do. Do you mind if I send you updates and pics. It will help out a lot and would be fun having an expert. If you have a P.O. Box or email I could send you a gift too for your help. Again thanks.

No worries, no gift necessary. And I'm far from an expert. Keep posting here, I pop on every few days.
All done! Phew…better not get any mold or caterpillars or I’m gonna go postal! Here’s the update. Btw you were so right, the three different clones I had in plastic containers are all green and healthy!

You might need bigger pots, or put them in the ground. Your roots are getting too hot
Just wanted to say thank you! You probably saved my plants! They are super happy and besides from a little rabbit molestation are all good! Did what you said and all is well so A+ on you!

Happy to help z man. Nothing happier than a happy plant, except for the grower of said plant.
Some better pics in the am. I topped a little over a week ago, just an inch off the top and it made a world of a difference. Now ALL kolas are getting juicy. The younger plants shot out like 5 or 6 new tops…can you look at them and see what you think?…you will know which ones which. Putting support bamboo up in a few days. Thanks again

One more question for ya…when I put the bamboo stake in, hopefully won’t harm too much of the roots, should I cut off the tomato cage and just support the side branches with ties to the center pole or leave the cage and use it to also help support? Thanks

Keep the cage because it’s still supporting the grow. All 7 of my gals outside are within tomato cage and have done so the past 4 years. I use the green foam gardening wire and connect the limbs to the cage. Worked amazingly with my 2nd outdoor season grow on a Black Domina (1st pic) and working great with everyone this year, but especially my MAC.(2nd pic)

See that’s what I’m talking about! Such a killer strain too. I’m Santa Barbara MAC is grown in the massive greenhouses and you can smell it from two towns away! I’m starting to see how to top my plant properly now and I’ve never grown from seed so next year I’ll be ready for the big bush like you!

I just realized those are trash cans!!! What the hell!? Why haven’t I tried that? Do you have to drill holes in the bottom?

Yeah they are just some rubbermade like garbage cans that I have drilled holes into the bottom, here and there among the sides as well for air. I also place a few holes around the rim to help in my foam wire training. Cans are roughly 18G in size and with training, keep them roughly 6ft and under. Back onto townhouses and try my best to keep them away as eye soars, smell is a different issue sometimes. Plus handy for moving them under tarps or trees in my yard to protect them from rain in late flowering stages.

Love it. If I do get heavy fog in the morning come October, what’s the best way to protect against mold? Looks like I’m gonna have some dense colas, I’m a little nervous. I bought a battery powered fan for the mornings, anything else I can do to prepare?
