Fan Leaves and Hash

Just a quick question, but are the big fan leaves on the plant capable of making decent hash. The fan leaves have no crystals at all, while the small leaves around the bud are packed (on mine at least). Just wondering if anyone has every used the fan leaves for making hash. Thanks.

hell yeah man, theres THC all up that shit, the whole p lantman, you could grind up the stem leaves and all and make some killer hash. that is themost common method i think.

i make butt loads of bubble hash. i throw away all my big fan leaves. they seem to give my hash a "dirty" flavor. like dust or just big old leaves. i haven't tried them for honey oil. this may be the better way to go.

i keep fan leaves that been close to the buds, those which been not that lucky go strait to the rabbits:D and for sure i keep those iced leaves:D goes all to the ice-o-lator:)

i love the hash. it's unbelievable how many people i know who insist on throwing away their trim. then if i offer them money for it they get really funny. eww it's garbage. whatever. the first time i made bubble hash. WOW!!:hump: :hump: :hump: :hump:

bubblegum weed would be my guess.. not for sure though.. I don't know about everywhere else but here in fayetteville I have the best hash with the best prices too.. it's made with straight dank keif and you won't find it fresher anywhere.. unless you make your own as well lol.. I have never had bubblegum though.. bet it would be tasty!

i trim all the big fan leaves. pretty much anything with a stem. toss it in the compost pile. then i manicure my buds. trimming all the bud leaf off. i like to carefully get down into the buds and remove as much leaf as possible. connoisseur manicure if you will. i save all these trimmings, which are covered in trichromes. then i use a bubbleator and hash bags. they call it bubble hash because it bubbles when you heat it.

I use my trichome encrusted trim for cannabutter, might have to reconsider and use some of it for bubble hash.....hmmmmmmm!

Sure pot plants have THC through out the plant, but why would you want to make your hash taste like home grown Nebreska Dirt Weed? Yuk!

Afghani, kush, and hash plants all make extremely great hash. And here is a little secret to get tons of resin/THC production----> General Hydroponics -Floralicious Plus! Just add with your nute solution through out the entire flowering cycle! This stuff will triple your hash production! The buds get so loaded, that you could take a bud and throw it at a wall and it will stick for days! lol

Just for the record, I make finger hash out of this stuff.

I wouldn't be able to use the stuff if it triples the crystal production. I mean, I'm growing Trainwreck, and if the crystals were three times as much as normal, the glare from the grow room would be so great that I wouldn't be able to stand opening the door. I'd go blind! Yikes!! :)

and the mess from all the gooey resin dripping off of everything. that stuff is hard to clean. then trying to manicure. it would be like holding a warm cube of butter.


i used it last year outdoors. smells like shit. made my plants smell like shit. seemed to work but i used a lot of sugar also. i think i'll stick to the sugar.

I have a big ass train wreck plant i want to make hash from,can you use all the big stems with the trimings off the nugs?
