FAN leafs???

my uncle gave me 3 plants for my birthday which are filling out nicely harvest is very soon
he recently saw the plant a few days ago and he said cut all fan leafs off and just keep the leafs that grow out anf near the buds he says it take all the nutes an d energy from the buds should i cut the fan leafs or leaves them

Well i have always been advised that the Fan leaves should be left alone, just let the plant grow naturally it normally produces better results but thats just my opinion my friend. See what other people think first.

I agree, don't cut healthy leaves. Actually, taking them off gives the buds less natural nutirents because you're decreasing the amount of chlorophyll(food) the plant makes itself.

yea keep the big fan leaves on they actually keep all the nuts so when the flowers bud they will use that stored energy from the leaves plus some will naturally turn yellow in the last stages of its life and thats the time when u wana pluck them off. peace

Hey! need some major help. plants should have beeen let flower some time ago switched them over 2 bloom warm lite with n a 3 day span it looked fall in there all leafs froom top 2 bott r yellow with some curling an crips going on. called thec line gave all dose of mag seemed 2 help but still is some thing wrong i have worked 2 hard an long 2 lose them close 2 my 1st harvest have been very ill an no one 2 help thnkx H.P
