Fan Leaf Trimming Tutorial???

My friend has given me a female plant I cannot remember the name exactly but its something punch he had already had the plant in 12/12 about 2 weeks before he gave it to me and it has already formed small buds and a nice top bud pictures will follow in a couple of days, anyway there are a few massive fan leaves I wouldnt mind trimming but I want to make sure I am trimming the right ones and the right way this is my 1st grow and I want to try and get the best potential out of her!

Damn im waiting for the same responce.I got fo OG kush plants that are basically small tress in a 3x3 flood tray.The trunks are a lil bit bigger than a nickel.I got alot of small growth on the bottome and large fan leave.I wanna trim but dont know where to start.

sweet man watch this post I am sure someone will help soon lol my plant is about 1 nd half ft lovely buds already growing jut needs a few chunky fans leafs chopped lol
