Day 62
D12 12/12
Yesterday I gave the soil a drink with 5ltrs of just water with appox 300ml of run off.
Tonight I gave the dwc a fresh soup mix as I had topped her off with fresh water to that same amount of the original mix. I upped the ppm a touch from last change as she seems to like it. The stretch is definitely starting to show. Soil plant has little flowers popping up everywhere, and the bud sites look great
Dwc looks like she is only just starting to show some pistils. I should have definitely thinned out more branches on the quadline's before flipping I think. It going to be a pretty big defoliate and branch thinning when the stretch finishes.

Day 70 (yesterday)
d20 12/12
Everything is just cruising along sweetly and the stretch is still happening. Soil has bud sites everywhere. I have made a compost tea for the soil tonight when lights come on. I raised the soil plant a few inches so it is the same canopy height as the dwc plant. Will probably do a defoliate, branch thinning and lollipoping this weekend.

Had a go last night of thinning out one of the plants branches. Took a lot of the lower branches off. Will hopefully get a chance to do dwc plant tonight.

Both plants looking good except the dwc plant has a couple of leaves that look like Calcium deficiency maybe? Any suggestions? My ph has been steady at 6-6.1 since res change on Saturday.1_LI.jpg dwc_1.jpg dwc.jpg soil 1_LI.jpg soil_LI.jpg IMG_2009_LI.jpg IMG_2013_LI.jpg IMG_2015_LI.jpg IMG_2018_LI.jpg

Quick update
Day 76
day 27 of 12/12
Changed the soup in the dwc, she is drinking nearly 2ltrs a day. Soil plant is doing great. Have been giving her water every 3-4 days. I will make up an organic tea brew on the weekend for her. Time to get my chair a beer & a joint, and just stare at them for a bit.

Yeah have been thinking about UV. Is just 1 of the t-5 Arcadia 14% uvb 30% uva the go for a 3x3 ?.

A couple of pic from the last couple of days.

Day 87

day 37 of 12/12

Got up early today (Saturday) before lights out to get some pics. Topped up dwc and currently at 1190ppm(700 sc) temp 65 & ph 6.1. RH is 52% and air temp 22. Min 1000ppfd at the canopy, more at taller buds.

Flowers are shooting heaps of pistils and are smelling great.

Wondering if I should prune the bigger fan leaves of just keep tucking them daily?

Oh lordy look at em go!

I'm guessing here and you should probably check with @Randomblame but probably 2 x 2ft T5s just for good coverage. I went with 6% so I can run full 12 hours on and run close to the canopy with Prawns new boards.

Who the fuck mentioned me again, lol!

I recommed f61 to use either a 39w 3ft bulb or two 24w 2 footers. 14% bulbs 2-4h, 10-12% bulbs 3-6h and the 6% bulbs can run all day long.(same heights with the LED's)
The length of the UVB treatments also depend on the strains used. Its different from strain to strain. First signs of UVB stress look similar to heat stress so keep an eye on the upper fan leaves and when you see curled up leaf margins or twisted leaves reduce the amount of time a little until the issues dissapear.
Reptile bulbs are pretty easy to use cuz they don't stress the plants like other UVB bulbs.(Agromax pure UV's for instance) For UVB beginners they are perfect cuz they can not damage adult plants. Lower % bulbs need only more time but the quality improving effect is almost the same.

Cheers Randomblame for your input. I will check out my local pet stores and see what they have.
