c02 @ 1500 ppm's during flower
dyna gro,budswell guano,fox farms organic bloom and some compost teas
I really thought these where gonna be better, but a big blahhh. Even gave clones to others and they didn't do any better.

I wish you the most luck, hate wasting all that time, but I learned some stuff, so it wasn't all a waste.

Yet we are growing using totally different methods, and you even switched yours.
There were so many variables, or additives rather, in your grows that it could have been anything besides genetics.
I only use GH Flora Micro and Bloom (with 15ml each of PBP Cal/Mag and Liquid Karma every 2 weeks) in my R/O the entire grow.
I've also seen far more positive reviews than negative.
I don't miss growing in Pro-Mix HP with my Smart Pots AND Air Pots.
My wife uses all those additives for her flowers and plants now, and my life has gotten simpler, cleaner and more bountiful. lmao
I promise this grow won't be a waste of time.
Something tells me one of these NL and C99 are special ! lol
I am also going to make seeds this grow, so I'm wanting 1 male from each strain to cross pollinate for F1's.
These C99's are F5's and I want to pass along their genes.

Looking good Flo, is there any specific reason/experience you have with water that makes you use R/O and avoid tap (if I read that correctly)?

Practically every major city in the U.S. now uses Chloramine in their city water supply.
Chlorine alone doesn't kill the large amounts of contaminates found in the water supply due to it's short half life of 24hrs or less once exposed to the air.
Chloramine is Chlorine with an added Ammonia molecule.
Chloramine DOES NOT dissipate into the air like Chlorine if sat in the open air for a day or more.
It doesn't go anywhere !
Either buy a liquid contaminate remover like Amquel-Plus, used for fish tanks and found at PetCo, PetSmart, etc..
Or use an ACTIVATED Carbon filter.
R/O systems (good ones) have one or more Activated Carbon filters.
Or use the large water machine at your local supermarket since they use AC filters plus additional filtration methods to clean their water before you buy it.
Lastly, I like to know exactly what my water/solution contains.
My R/O ranges from 18 - 20 PPM before I use any nutes.

When you flush, you want you PPM's at less than 50, to be honest.
You don't want to still feed with 100 PPM's or higher.
You want the plant to use up it's stored food supply to get the nice fading before harvest.
Yellow leaves means little to no Chlorophyl and better tasting buds.
I know of no major city water supply with PPM's that low.
Gotta use a filter.


p.s. When you take steaming hot showers, that Ammonia molecule seperates due to the heat and is now being inhaled by whoever is takin the shower or in the bathroom.
Respiratory problems are a matter of time, it just depends on the level AND duration of toxicity, as well as the person's genetic make-up.

Good info flo. I hate to say it but I still use just straight tap water for everything. Plants to cooking. Lol.

I need to go buy a ro system just more loot I don't have. I am going to get one for me and the plants though. I don't leave my water out at all either when feeding my plants. My bluelab truncheon says less than .2 ec or100ppm because it doesn't go less than that. But I flush for a week at then end and I haven't noticed an really bad harshness in smoking it but I think I notice it afterwards with the plhem build up to be honest.

The phlem.....a good sign indeed.
There are so many options now for under $100 and $50.
Even good whole-house systems can be had at Lowes or Home Depot for $150 - $400.
Check Wally World and Ace Hardware too.
You want filters that will be supplied for a while too and not cease with production when a certain R/O system is no longer sold too.

I've looked at the ones at lowes and HD all the time. Usually right around 150-200 where the ones I looked at. Usually triple carbon filter.

Probably going to be the next thing I buy I guess clean water for me as well as the plants.

Just need to get some new genes to grow. I've got two crops scrogged right now in veg. Both the same age but behind in my cycle so going to let one veg a week or two longer than the other. If I can't these buds the get a good stretch and yield this way I'm junking it as soon as I can get my hands on some new plants.

Lots of top breeders there too.
Subcool, DJ Short, Chimera, Joey Weed, GN, Tom Hill, Mr Nice, Serious, etc.. there's a few more too.
Start with Joey for solid F2's !
Chimera, I mean this is another breeder with serious knowledge and someone else that I keep sleeping on.
Especially considering how long he's been breeding and has a known stable line of strains.

Oh I took a look when you had posted up in a thread somewhere I went and checked out joeys strains. I liked a few of the was probably going to try the blueberry x apollo 11.

Just no money atm and still got all that money out there. I don't know what the problem is. Its not even like I cared I used my real name and address on the site along with my cc. Even though they say its discrete we all know big brother knows w/e they want.

i liek joeys gear to.....i got his C99 and my buddy has his A11..both are solid. Prices are decent to..57 frogskins a pack at HD

Yeah my budd has some running righ tnow, nice plants..kinda cindy like but a lil diff. And hell yeah.. i think that strain yur talkin about is called moon shadow..looks bomb! Everything ive seen grow from him was real nice. I crossed JW C-99 with some blueberry i had..its potent as fuck! nice high to..starts as an upper and then it puts you down like a sick dog. If his BBxC99 is the same than its a winner to.

Shit R/O water seems like a pretty good investment, even though you pretty much covered everything read up seems like the only drawback is unsteady PH? Might have been an isolated problem though, not too sure.

Thanks for the good vibes flo it seemed to work pretty dam good. Got the second shipment in anyway just my blackberry and papaya but I'm happy.

I got the blackberry because I had a friend bring some black domino over a buddy grows and he packed up a bowl between three people and we got so ripped. Best weed I had came across since shipping og kush and other bud from cali.

The blackberry is a cross bewteen the black domino and rasberry cough. Between hearing great things about the both of them I figured it would be be great to get to best of both worlds. I was trying to get something with good bag appeal to so I'm hoping the blackberry I get a good colorful pheno.

It finishes in 9-11 weeks nirvana says. Its a white strain also.
