Failure to thrive.

I could really use some help guys, been dealing with this for a while and there just havent been any significant improvement. About to cull the whole batch and start over. But wanted to really solve this first so next batch doesnt have these issues. this is my first hydroponic grow.
It's been 5 weeks 3 days since the seeds popped. Incredibly slow growth, root development has been absolutely minimal. and I'm currently chasing around some type of excess/deficiency issue. I wasnt getting many roots from the sides of my rapid rooter, only from the roots that extended from the bottom. So I assumed there were too many air/light gaps from the hydroton. Filled it in with pearlite to see if it would aid in my issue.. leaves seem to be browning from the bottom sets first.from the tips, but only progressing about halfway up the leaf before it stops and goes to the next set up.
My setup:
-3x3 ft space
-Mars hydro ts1000 LED light
18" from tops, moved down to 20" until plant shows signs of recovering.
-5 gallon DWC buckets.
-vivosun 950 GPH air pump
- General hydroponics flora series nutrient.
Mixed half strength.
-Reverse Osmosis water supplemented with CAL-MAG
-ph between 5.5-6.0
-air temp typically 76-80 f
-Water temp 70-73f
-humidity +/- 40% during the day, 50% at night.
-Ppm of single plant bucket +/- 400ppm
-Ppm of multi-plant bucket +/- 220 ppm.
-co2 controller set to 800ppm. Recently turned it off completely as I was considering toxicity as a possible issue. .

I think it’s your roots. You need hydroguard.

I had a similar issue, this should fix it right up.

I'll have to check this out! I've seen this product floating around but never really looked into it before.

I will! Just purchased it. Will have it I. A few days. I've started using this product but I dont think its the same as what you suggested.

The great white is mycorrhiza, a fungus that promotes a symbiotic relationship with the roots of the marijuana plant. Showing significant improvements. Changed the nutrients to an organic line called peruvian gold. Added hydroguard as well as another brand that was supposedly way more concentrated and only 8$ .root zone has doubled in size from a week ago. I am just battling ph swings now, but I can live with that. New growth seems healthy and plant is coming out of its stunted state.

Great white is supposed to be some good shit. ive just never used it simply because of the price.
Southern Ag and hydroguard are both bacillus, hydroguard is just way more diluted. You dont need to use both. Id just use your hydro guard at recommended until its gone and then stick with the southern ag, its cheaper and much more concentrated. I do well with 1/4ml per gallon of southern ag, some even do as little as 1ml per 10 gallons im considering trying lower.
You definitely had some root rot, but it looks like youre getting some new healthy growth now.
One thing you can do to help it further is to pull it away from the system and rinse out some of that brown slime from the roots. and more frequent water changes until that slime clears up completely.

He's running GH Flora trio-it stains roots brown.
I think that those plants are just hungry. 200-400ppm during veg is really low for GH.
GFF is some good stuff, used it for years.

Those are not stained roots.
They look to be recovering well, but that was 100% rot

I thought it was a low ppm as well, but as soon as i crank it past 400 the tips of leaves start to look nitrogen burnt within a day or so. Then i get worried and dilute it down with some Ph'd water to stop it. Maybe I'm not giving it a chance.

I'm certain it was starting to rot as well. One of my plant was seriously stunted by the whole affair. Might have to pull it because it just cant rebound as well as the other one..
