Brevard, North Carolina — Authorities here charged a man with terrorism and possessing a weapon of mass destruction after "incendiary" devices were found at several buildings, including a church, on Sunday morning, reports CBS Spartanburg, South Carolina affiliate WSPA-TV. The one at the church was intact but the others had gone off, causing light damage, Brevard police said.
Officers were called to the First Baptist Church of Brevard around 10:30 a.m. Sunday for a report of an incendiary device on church grounds.
Officers searched the area and found multiple devices, which had detonated, at the Transylvania County Community Services Building and the American Legion Lodge.

Terry Lee Barham, 64, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with three counts of terrorism, possession of a weapon of mass destruction, transportation of a weapon of mass destruction, manufacturing a weapon of mass destruction, malicious damage to a government building, attempted malicious damage to a government building, attempted malicious damage to a church, and attempted malicious damage to an occupied building.
Brevard Police said Barham was linked to the devices though the investigative efforts of their department along with the Transylvania County Sheriff's Office, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and the ATF.
Barham was being held in the Transylvania County Jail on $280,000 bond.

What it is that he says the people of Hancock county "misunderstand"
Fleming is chairman of the state Legislature's Special Committee on Election Integrity. Despite Georgia's Republican secretary of state repeatedly saying there is no evidence of widespread fraud in November's election, Fleming has sought to tighten voting access and has likened absentee voting to "the shady part of town down near the docks."
His House Bill 531 includes several restrictions on voting access, limiting ballot drop boxes, absentee voting and Sunday early voting -- the latter a popular get-out-the-vote method among Black churches, which provide transportation to take "souls to the polls."
This scandal comes on the heels of an earlier one. In 2015, officials in Hancock county "made Black voters disappear" on their voting rolls.
In 2015, after a failed attempt to shutter almost every polling location in a county three times the area of Atlanta, the Hancock County Board of Elections and Registration tried to remove 174 voters, almost all of them African American, ahead of a Sparta city election. The board even sent deputies to homes, summonsing voters to prove eligibility.
The city's roll at the time included only 988 voters, so it meant about one in five potential ballots. The majority-White board ultimately clipped 53 residents from the rolls.
He stepped down from his role as attorney for the county following a protest that led to an hour long closed door meeting of county commissioners. They came back from that meeting with a unanimous agreement to fire the racist bastard.

San Francisco Police identified the man as 39-year-old Steven Jenkins. He’s also believed to have also assaulted an 83-year-old Vietnamese American man at a grocery store 30 minutes before the incident involving Xie. He was booked at the San Francisco Jail on two charges of assault and two charges of elder abuse.
Police said they are working to determine if racial bias was a motivating factor in the incidents.

My wife is now afraid to go outside without me in America. Americans are very good at spotting the extremists but that's not who we are afraid of, it's hundreds upon millions of Americans who don't understand that they are racists and the shit they do constantly is OK to them. I hope that scumbag gets charged with a hate crime offense and gets the maximum in a federal prison. He had assaulted an elderly Asian man prior to this incident so consecutive 10 year sentences in a federal prison sounds appropriate. Then let him do a state sentence for elderly abuse when he gets done with his 20 years in federal custody. After that deport his pathetic ass. We don't need his kind in America.

They crowd funded her to almost 3/4 of a million bucks (her Asian fan club), so it was good pay for some short stick work! I dunno if the clown was an American citizen or not, I just hope like fuck he wasn't a Canadian! He sure did look stupid chained to a gurney covered in blood, I imagine jail will be a real treat since they have TV there too. I figure he is being tormented by the other prisoners, while she is suddenly rich and a hero of the Asian American community. Instead of becoming a victim she turned the tables on a bully and became a hero.
