Roots will grow out of the bottom of the pot instead of air pruning.

With 14 plants you might consider doing something about your problem. I can't imagine how you're going to manage run off.

You mean to the sides of the bottom right? What would happen to the center? I ended up rising them up with something
I ended up elevating them with these milk crateish rectangles. Probably like 5 inches off the ground

I do have a fan blow air from outside the tent through an opening, but I ended up placing them under these little crates for better or worse. This is a very small tent 2x2x36

14 plants in a 2x2?! You're brave man.
Ive wanted to scale down, so recently I got a 20" x 36" x 60", and I will not even try to attempt more than 1 plant at a time in it.
That 14 plant pic of yours, is gonna give me nightmares.

Haha, these are just in this 2x2 for now, I have a 4x4 tent as well and a 6x8 room I was going to put some plants in when they get a little bigger. I’m gonna probably put these in the 4x4 with some other and do a sea of green

its how i started growing years ago, i learned about towels and things, one day i just got tired of the clean up and bought some cheap under pots

I took them each out and watered on a 5gal bucket with holes in the lid. Such a pain

These are cheap. You lose a little floor space with them but it's better then having to clean up a wet floor. You can also use them to bottom water if you get gnats or your soil becomes hydrophobic.

I don’t mind a bit of soil and water on the floor of the tent for now. I was concerned about the roots not breathing towards the bottom center. What did you do with the towels?

I used these sips my last grow that I made from some YouTube video and it was great.. I need to try and replicate this with some 1 gallon buckets

Past couple of grows I’ve done autos and photos which have been with them soaking up runoff until harvest. Watering amounts and nutrients need to be dialled in first. Smoke was smooth and plants were nice and healthy.
I use a peat based soil for seedlings and organic feed. I don’t think it’ll work with coco as you need to remove the runoff but this technique saved me removing any run off

2x4’s work great. Just put them in your catch pan to elevate above the runoff. If you leave them on the tent floor when you water to runoff it will be a mess and you’ll have wild rh swings.
