So I was doing a bit of watering and noticed this thing on a bud. I assume this is a nanner so I cut the small bud that it was attached to.
I'm 61 days since flipping to 12/12. The bud this nanner was attached to looks like this. . .
I have put the plant (first grow) in a good amount of stress (sadly). I had to bend/supercrop 4 branhes as they were getting too high (2-3 weeks into flower). Last week I had to cut another branch that was getting too tall. I assumed the light stress would have caused something like this, so I just cut the top of that branch off.
So my question is how to proceed? Here are a couple other pictures, but I haven't seen any amber yet (only cloudy) so I had been hoping to give it another week or two to fatten up (although genetics may prevent this) and ripen before cutting it. But if I'm going to be dealing with nanners from here on out, is it worth keeping alive for two weeks and dumping money into it (nutes)?
Here are some more pictures to get an idea at the plant's progress. . .
flash photo right before lights on this morning
bud site is on the upper side of the middle of the canopy
bud site on the top of the canopy
bud site toward the lower side of the middle of the canopy
So what are my pros and cons of leaving the plant up vs cutting it down right now?
I'm assuming that once I see this one nanner, others will follow? Or could I be lucky and only see one of them?
I only have the one plant. I wouldn't be devestated with seeds, but it defeats the purpose to keep growing it if it's already pollenated and thc production has slowed/stopped. it's nearly impossible for me to inspect every single bud site on the plant. I'm only able to get this type of access to the front/top half right now due to how things are tied down in the tent
it's my first grow so I'm curious what my best options are right now.
thank you for your time.
