F48 - Fade or Deficiency

You think? I think it’s more to do with switching up nutes.

@OP what are the ratios of the feeds? Before and now?

If the N is lower on the new feed there’s ur issue.

Dont Chase your tail with pH..
Before my line up used to be:

FF Grow Big(6-4-4), Big Bloom(0-0.5-0.7), Tiger Bloom(2-8-4), CalMag+ (2-0-0), armor si (0-0-4), voodoo juice . Using recommended dose.

Now it's,

Armor si (0-0-4), CalMagPlus(2-0-0), GH Flora Nova(4-8-7), voodoo juice.

At recommended dose. FloraNova I'm using late bloom doses.. 2 tsp per gal (using 1 gallon)

Should I do 3 tsp? (15ml)

really? You think changing nutrients with lower nitrogen will cause rusting and what looks like a problem in feed uptake.
Iv only had issues with fading when my nitrogen is low.
Heya.. I've given the ratios of my feed. I'm taking unto consideration that the pH may have e been too high. When comparing my old vivosun meter and my new apera.. the old one would read .3 off. The sample water I used was reading 7.8 on apera and vivo sun meter 7.6.

After putting in armor si and floranova bloom... my pH dropped to 5.8. So I used a bunch of pH up from General Hydroponics to bring it up to 6.7 or so on my last feed.

I suppose the question at hand here is how much damage am I doing to my yield with potential N deficiency and a bad ph?. What would be the rectifying move.. wait until she is dry and flush her with tap water at 6.7....then wait until she is dry then feed her a little more bloom calmag at 6.7ish?

Or skip the water and dose her again with nutes with proper pH?

I'm thinking of brining the ml from 10 ml/gal to 15ml/gal and seeing if she acts strangely?

I will also be introducing recharge bennies

Never flush with straight water ,mix up some nutes and feed to runoff. Flush out the old bring in the new. Don’t ever let it dry right out. If you do you have to feed to runoff again. Remove the salts.
Growing in dirt with salts is easy. Think coco. Never let it dry right out always feed to runoff etc.

The last water cycle was a feed. Should i just run water through her at the right pH until I get runoff? Then wait until she is dry again and give her more Bloom.. 15 ml instead of the 10 I was giving her. I'm noticing her sugar leaves are showing this change in color. She's 7 weeks since flip... about 25 days since changed from FFtrio to Flora Nova Bloom

The purpose of the flush is too remove the old nutes the imbalance. Now when I say runoff I mean lots. 20-30% min. So straight water doesn’t work as she’ll starve. Mix up a mild solution at your desired pH and water until you get good amount of runoff. Don’t let her suck it back up. You could pour pHed water first I guess then the feed to save a few cents.

I never let her stay stale in her pot. Always 20% or more runoff.

She is a bit moist on the top soil. Should I wait for the top soil to dry up a bit or should I give her a mild nute feed? I gave her nutes 2 days ago.

ok cool,so build up is off the list then.So lower N is what we're thinking? So calcium is lower also since there together.Even with calmag. How much ca/mg is in grow big and bloom compared to the new stuff?

Your call, over water shouldn't be an issue?Root bound?.

Didn’t see the spots? The newest photo is just classic yellow from bottom to top?

@subtechny

You’ve gone from a 10-x-x ratio to 6-x-x ratio with lots of extra PK. Explains the lack of N.

The plant will lose leaves until the input N matches the level required to maintain the plant.

You haven’t messed up big time dude. Will still get some nice buds!

Often growing is a case of learning the hard way?

No I didn't see the other side. I do time lapse video and I try not to move her. Didn't notice her u other side her yellow like that.

She had a lot of new growth but discolored a bit.

So what should I do? Up the bloom a little.. like from 10ml to 15ml?

I appreciate it!

are you letting the soil dry?
Soil was dry about 2 knuckles down this morning so I stayed with the routine. 6.7 pH plus calmag + a recharge. no nutes.. in a few days when dry again.. I'll run nutes through her.. with a little extra bloom to see how she responds.

Runoff was 6.6

Funny, seams obvious. You ran out of nutes and bought a different kind with much less N.Now shes yellowing.

Still not sure what should be my next step with the nutes. The recommended is 1 tsp per gal for early bloom... 2 tsp per gal for late bloom.

Would going to 3 tsp per gal be the right choice? Would PK fly too high?

It may seem obvious but I'm just nervous this plant will have all its efforts go out the window.

If I were u mate I’d buy the nutes u were using and just keep the other ones on the shelf for emergencies.

If it ain’t broken don’t fix it as the old saying goes

Add more N!,Do you not have a grow store or garden centre near?
