F*$% LIGHT INTERRUPTION- HELP!

This morning has sucked. I woke up and noticed on my grow cam that my lights were off. It was 7:40 am. My lights are set to be on 11pm - 11am. I rushed in and turned my lights on and then I reviewed my camera footage and saw that the lights went off at 5:45 am. So, the plants got about 2 hours of darkness 5 hours before they normally would have.

AND THEN, because it's now 8 am and I am stressing the fuck out and I'm hungry and tired, I look at my cam playback footage which is showing my plants in the dark, I THINK MY LIGHTS WENT OUT AGAIN, and I proceed to go in and turn my power brick off and on to figure it out.

SO, not only did the lights go off for 2 hours, 5 hours early....to make it worse I flashed them off and on after that.

How bad did I just fuck myself? Will my plants be alright?

This is some bullshit.

And they say that gardening and cannabis both reduce stress and relax you.

You’re fine. Now to figure out why your lights shut off in the first place.

if you are using a wifi plug, ditch it and get a basic timer.
Yeah man that's the challenge.... I have 6 drivers plugged into a power brick and the power brick was off. So I'm guessing it flipped into the surge protection mode or whatever....but who knows why. That has never happened before. I have no idea. I'm just gonna hope it doesn't happen again I guess.

Not a big deal unless it keeps happening over and over. But I'd try to figure out why it's doing it, so you can keep it from happening again. Or just replace the surge protector and maybe split up your plugs on to two seperate ones.

If your power bar has GFCI protection and its plugged into a GFCI plug or fed by a GFCI protected circuit breaker (basically more than 1 gfci between panel and the load) you will get nuisance tripping.

I had the same problem too about 3 weeks into flower, people on threads will say it’s instantly fucked but far from it, keep your light schedule exactly the same you had it in the first place to not to avoid any more stress
