my plants were doing great up until 3 days ago when I noticed these lil infamous worms..I've did my research and came down with the conclusion BT was needed to control these pest that come from moths..2 of my plants are 4 weeks from harvest, the other one is 2-3..I didnt spray the one thats closer, just been combin the buds pickin off really small caterpillars...They are now becoming a bigger problem as im noticing more attacking mainly the top colas..I guess the BT takes a few days to kill the suckers, so I got my fingers crossed that they ingested some of it..Ill be spraying them again tomorrow evening..The stuff just reaks of chemicals, and it seems to have taken away the potency in smell..They say you can use it a day up to harvest, but i highly doubt hey were reffering to BUDS

BUT THE BIGGEST PROBLEM OF ALL IM WORRIED ABOUT IS, THE CRAP Its LEAVING CAUSING FUNGUS AREAS..IM WONDERING IF IMA HAVE TO CHOP THE WHOLE BUD, OR JUST PICK OUT THE INFECTED AREA???ALSO, ALL MY HAIRS ON THE 2 FARTHEST AWAY FROM FLOWRING SEEM TO BE TURNING BROWN ON THE TOPS??WE HAD A RECENT HEAT WAVE THIS WEEKEND IN SOCAL SO IM WONDERIN IF THAT COULD BE THE CAUSE OF IT???I LOOKED TODAY AND I CAN SEE NEW HAIRS GROWING..COULD IT BE FROM THE HEAT WAVE OR OVER FERT OR THE WORMS??IDK AND ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!I FEEL LIKE IM GOING TO LOSE 3/4 OF MY CROP TO THESE BUGGERS IF I DONT TAKE CARE OF THIS..I NEED A LOT OF HELP FROM YOU GUYS ON..WILL MY BUDS STILL RIPEN EVEN WITH THE HAIRS DRYING OUT??helpppppppppppppp

Hairs drying out happens all the time. The grow and die and grow and die. Let us see some pictures and it maybe a lot easier to help you out.

I would use it at all. Try beer. Try news paper. Try any thing but some thing that reeks of Chems.

Hey man BT is just a bacteria and it's pretty safe for human consumption. Really only hurts worms. Budworms suck, they're killing my friends indicas off one cola at a time. I'm lucky enough not to have em this year... yet.

I'd spray the BT, and keep picking off all the worms you can find. You might also want to give you plants a good shake to try and get the caterpillar shit off of your leaves.

Be generous when you cut out infected buds. It sucks to lose yield but smoking mold can give you serious health issues.
