I'm glad that where you're from you can pick up the phone and call police, I on the other hand come from a neighborhood where folks think long and hard when calling police, you worry if your going to be a victim of the badge.

How many times don't you hear about people of color calling for police for help and instead wind up getting shot, beat up by police.

Your city/town needs to be fixed and it`s not the cops job to do that. Believe it or not, the people of your city/town have to fix your city. Clinton wont, Trump wont, and so far you guys wont. Laws are written down on paper and are only as good as you are able to enforce them.

I guess it's nice living in your neighborhood, yup it's all about the the people fixing the laws. But I guess that's kind of difficult when trust is broken.

Don`t be mistaken, My neighborhood has all it`s share of untrustworthy criminals and thieves. We are all on the same side but know who gets you when you`re not. That`s why when I say I got picked on, singled out, or beat up,.. I say so what as well, I probably deserved it.

Why? Because you want to feel that way? Are you trying to argue that cannabis does NOT impair judgment and reaction times? Because it does. All the empirical and anecdotal data confirms this. One of the reasons it feels good is because it does impair parts of your brain while stimulating others.

No state that has gone legal so far has also allowed people to drive while under the influence. Certainly the 5ng/mL limit some have imposed is ridiculous and over reaching, but no one arguing for legalization has also argued to allow people to drive while impaired. You know why? Because it's a bad fucking idea.

People driving impaired on cannabis will slow the legalization movement because it gives all the naysyaers and dogooders something to point to and say "aha see! they're endangering others"

I can't believe I'm having this much trouble explaining to people you shouldn't drive under the influence of anything. Fucking day 1 driving license material here.
so you never driven stoned?

Studies that do not show impairment
Surprisingly, given the alarming results of cognitive studies, most marijuana-intoxicated drivers show only modest impairments on actual road tests.37, 38 Experienced smokers who drive on a set course show almost no functional impairment under the influence of marijuana, except when it is combined with alcohol.

talking/texting impairs you more.

Dude your own link has several studies that do show impairment.

"Meta-analyses of over 120 studies have found that in general, the higher the estimated concentration of THC in blood, the greater the driving impairment, but that more frequent users of marijuana show less impairment than infrequent users at the same dose, either because of physiological tolerance or learned compensatory behavior. Maximal impairment is found 20 to 40 minutes after smoking, but the impairment has vanished 2.5 hours later, at least in those who smoke 18 mg THC or less (the dose often used experimentally to duplicate a single joint).58, 59"
yeah but not everyone smokes like that..some like just a hit or two because their weed is that good.

Justice Department Won't File Charges Against NY Cop Who Fatally Shot Unarmed Teen

NYPD Officer Richard Haste will not be charged in the shooting of Ramarley Graham, 18.

The U.S. Attorney announced Tuesday that there will be no grand jury and therefore no federal charges against the New York officer who fatally shot unarmed 18-year-old Ramarley Graham.

On Feb. 2, 2012, NYPD Officer Richard Haste fatally shot the unarmed teen on Feb. 2, 2012 after chasing Graham into his Bronx home. According to the Daily News, a judge, due to a legal technicality, threw out an earlier indictment by a Bronx grand jury.

White ex-trooper guilty in shooting of unarmed black man

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A white former state trooper pleaded guilty Monday to assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature for the 2014 shooting an unarmed black driver seconds after a traffic stop.

Ex-Trooper Sean Groubert faces up to 20 years in prison. He was led out of a courtroom in handcuffs after Circuit Judge Casey said he wanted time to think about Groubert’s punishment. The judge’s decision to send the 32-year-old Groubert to jail indicates he will serve some prison time.

The shooting was captured on dash-cam video from the trooper’s patrol car and shocked the country, coming during a wave of questionable police shootings.

Half of People Killed by Police Suffer From Disability: Report

Almost half of the people who die at the hands of police have some kind of disability, according to a new report, as officers are often drawn into emergencies where urgent care may be more appropriate than lethal force.

The report, published by the Ruderman Family Foundation, a disability organization, proposes that while police interactions with minorities draw increasing scrutiny, disability and health considerations are still neglected in media coverage and law enforcement policy.
