I have a new appreciation for those who grow outdoors and make it through the whole season. So much can go wrong. Live and learn I guess. Even though I had much urine around the area, deer pellets, varmint pellets, household bug sprays (for the surrounding area), along with mite/fly deterrent on the plants didn't stop the moles (I assume) from eating from the ground up and killing 7 of my 10 plants (all female) and 3' tall.
Tomorrow I WILL be hanging the other 3 in the trees! The only reason they were not eaten was because they were in 5gal buckets in the ground. Oh well...first year outdoors. The positive note is it reduces my chances of being caught.
