Winter's setting in. Main grow room is in the basement, so I wanted to control to keep the temp at 65F and above, but also to control the exhaust ventilation to keep the room below 75F. Solution was about $100 worth of supplies from Menard's.

Bought THIS HEATER and two of these OUTLET THERMOSTATS

On the "HEAT" setting, the outlet will stay on at any temp below the set point, and turn off when the temperature goes up to the set point Here's one attached to the heater, and will kick on if the temp drops below 65F, which it never does during the day since grow light keeps temp. at least 70F even w/ exhaust ventilation running:

I also got one for the exhaust vent fan. Set to "Cool", the outlet will stay on at any temp above the set point, and turn off when the temperature goes down to the set point, and will stop the exhaust fan if the room get too cold. It's set here at 68F:

Now, the heat will kick in if them room gets too cold during dark phase, and the exhaust fan will likewise stop if the room gets too cold during the light cycle. Each one operates in opposite directions around the set point; the heater kicks on when the temp falls below the setting, and the vent kicks on when the temp falls above a certain setting.

Two controllers and the heater at Menard's for about 100 clams.
