Ez cloner Q's

Hi everyone, ive set up my Ez cloner120 properly with water pump and air stones. temp fluctuates between 70-75,PH5.5-6.5, and as for my PPM what should i be aiming for? do i want a low or high? if i use water n ice water its ppm is at about 25 and [email protected] but my tap waters ppm is 800....which should be used.... or what should be used and do i dip the clones in clones before wedging them in the neosprene pads?

Well I thought EZ-Cloners came with rooting compound you dipped it in prior to putting them into the neoprene inserts? Maybe you got yours used? N E WAYZ...Use the less ppm water IMO also, make sure you do dip them in a rooting compound, I've done straight water before, but it takes longer. I dont quite understand your ice water n water...I'm guessing you freeze half take the ice block, or the water that is not frozen, and the ppms are lower somehow? IDK?

sorry to elaborate i meant, the water that i can buy from the water&ice store* is already ph'd at 7 and the ppm's are at 25-30

the plants make their own hormone. all that gel/powder will clog your manifold and you won't get the fine mist anymore. they will grow just as well without it.

your tap water is terrible. i would try a faucet filter, it will be cheaper in long run. i only use water in my cloner and never a problem. there is no need to ph a cloner, ph affects nute uptake via the roots and with no roots no need for ph adjustment.

Hello, I have had your set up. Your temps are way too high. 68 -74 tops.Yes the plants do make hormones but Indole-buytric acid wiich is n all rooting gels powders and liquids helps them root faster. ( I like dip n grow it has IBA & NAAhomones in it and just plain works.)Try a teaspoon full. Of superthrve in the (RO) water PH ed to 5.8. and a cycle timer to conrol temps.about 1 min. On 3 -4 off should do the trick.

I now run a Turbo klone and dont need the cycle timer. If you dont have Superthrive and can get your hands on willow bark. Boil a bunch of willow shoots up and reduce the strained liquid by about 20 times. It has IBA and NAA az nateral plant Auxins and can be used to dip your clones in and add to the rez.. It will keep in the fridge for about a week or just freeze it for later.

Clonex makes a seedling and cutting nutrient that's what I use in mine with ph at 5.8-5.5. Works really well and isn't anything that will clog sprayers or manifold.

how do you clone/

i use Olivia's cloning solution in my aero cloner. 1/4 cup per 2g and don't bother with Ph of the water Roots in 7 days usually

water is all you need for a ez cloner.

just make sure it's new or bleached out
