PH really wont effect the rooting process at all. PH effects nutrient uptake, which is done through the roots.
I use rooting powder and plain ol' tap water ONLY until I start to see roots, at which point I change the rez and ph to 5.8.
leave them in there till they get some decent roots, then transplant!
Easy. Good luck
I know a guy who has done extensive research on aero-cloners and sells them as well, used to be a member here called Dcyans. Anyway his tests (think thousands of clones) showed that pH did have an effect on the speed at which they rooted, starting low at 5.2 and once roots showed up to something higher like 5.5 but you got to be pretty anal to care about a day or two or very curious.
